His Heart Has Ever Reached Out
His heart has ever reached out to people in mercy and compassion.
His sacrifice ever remains to accomplish reconciliation of God to man. Why is it that men find it so hard to grasp the meaning of His sacrifice or to believe in it’s reality?
Isn’t it because of selfishness?
We want to be masters of our own destiny instead of having to die to our own opinions, ideas, dreams, not realizing that what he has for us will give us a greater inheritance; one that is eternal!
His way is not always easy, but there is joy and prosperity of heart in following Him. If we love Him, we must obey Him and ever seek to enter into intimacy with Him if we want to communicate and maintain a healthy relationship with Him.
Just as a married couple begin getting to know each other and continue to grow in their knowledge and love for each other, we must seek to continue in our first love with Christ.
When this first love is strong, so will our relationship with our mate be strong and out of our love for Christ, and receiving back love from him, will we have love to give to others.
If we don’t spend time with God, we get spiritually spent and instead of looking for him for what we don’t have to give, we act in the flesh. Everything we are and have comes from the father above who gives liberally to all men.
If we try to justify (rationalize) ourselves to God or man, we overlook the sacrifice made for our sins. And then there no longer remains a sacrifice made for our sins.
So Christ set the example of defenselessness so that we might not justify ourselves before men, but that He might vindicate us having already made the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.
The chastisement that accomplishes our peace was upon Him. This peace which surpasses all understanding is available to us if we look to Him for it.
Just as little children look to their parents for hope, encouragement, love and direction, and correction, we must be like children, wholly dependent on Him.
Think how it feels when you are not obeyed by your children or sought out after for advice. Don’t you feel slighted, hurt or even rejected?
And doesn’t your heart ache for them when they don’t listen and make mistakes that cost them, or cause them harm?
Likewise, Father God feels when we go our own way, or do what we think is best rather than seeking our direction and guidance from Him personally.
“You read The Word and do well to do so, as My Will is never inconsistent with My Word.
Many boast of Christianity meeting relationship, not religion, yet you run from spending time with Me, from seeking real relationship.
My heart aches for relationship with you. I’ve said My Yoke is easy and My Burden is light, yet you carry it yourself, or you run to others instead of Me first.
Come to Me when your heart is weary. Come to Me when the load is too heavy for you to be here alone.
My Shoulders are not too weary to carry it! Be still and know that I AM God!
My love for you is from everlasting to everlasting. My Love never fails. Trust in Me alone!”

Omg, so true. Thanks sister.
The reason why people find it hard to believe Jesus sacrifice in the reality is because we are bombarded all day long with media that tries to render it as science fiction. Hollywood, News media and the loveable corps of liberal college professors. Thus is a tough deal!!
