High Place Mentality
“In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate, so that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, your idols may be broken and made to cease, your incense altars may be cut down, and your works may be abolished,” Ezekiel 6:6, NKJV.
My child, I taught you many years ago about the dangers of the high place mentality* so common among My people. Compromising My Word to fit in with the world’s culture only brings death, destruction and judgment. My people are called to a higher standard than that of the world’s cultural norms.
My people who are called by My name are to be the shining ones that draw the lost to the Truth. My Gospel is not to be watered down, but it is to be the standard by which all things are measured and judged.
The history of Israel’s kings, their rise and fall, demonstrate the folly of seeking after the culture of the world. They eventually went into idolatry and were scattered among the nations. When they returned to the Promised Land, legalism and harsh religion kept them from receiving their Messiah as a nation.
This generation has run afoul of political correctness and cultural compromise, when the very basic precepts of marriage between one man and one woman are up for redefinition. This arrogance sends an awful stench up to the courts of heaven. The enemy laughs at these things and believes that he has set My people up to be destroyed by their own ignorance of My Word.
However, I have a praying remnant. In the economy of My Kingdom one bold warrior can chase and defeat a multitude (1,000). When just two of My loyal ones join in agreement 10,000 are set to flight. This is now the time for these dear ones to come out of their hiding places. Yes, these who have not bowed to compromise or the spirit of Baal that has taken over the seats of power in My Church and in the leadership of this nation.
I will shake these high places of rebellion and apostasy in My Church first and then in the government. I will burn the bones of the prophets of Baal on their altars. I will utterly make known that I AM has done these things. I will loose the spirit of the Fear of the Lord upon this land. Woe to those who cling to their idols and humanistic doctrines. It will not go well with them.
I take no pleasure in discipline. But the Good Father corrects His children to keep them from the snares of the evil one who lurks at the door. You are to pray for the church-goers who have been deceived by the doctrine of compromise. Pray that they awaken and return to the Truth. Pray for the worldly ones that they may be granted repentance and will not harden their hearts when I call to them.
These are challenging and dangerous times. Stay the course and follow My Word in all that you do. If My Word is your constant (North Star) then you will not drift off the path into the ditches of compromise. Keep Me as your First Love and the fire will not be quenched. I release My mercy and grace for these days require a constant filling. Receive My love and blessings in this hour. Shalom.
*High Place mentality: the elevation of the will of man or man-made doctrines to the place of equality with or even above the Word of God. These High Places rest on the foundation of a self-sufficient attitude, unwillingness to change, and the tendency to follow after anything that delights the senses (fickleness).”

Amen!
The deception that we are saved by ‘grace’ only and that is no commandments (law) to keep must come to an end.
