Hide in the Secret place of The Most high!
Often I receive words or pictures from the LORD that are incomplete. For a period of time, I am left only with that revelation, without much being added to it. Then a day comes when He fills the gap so I see a more complete picture or receive a more complete word.
I say, “More complete,” because I believe once God seals a Word in our heart it lives within us. While we may think we have received the complete understanding we never know what additional revelation might be added.
This morning I was given the “more complete” word for a vision I received over a year ago.
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God in Him will I trust,” Psalm 91:1-2.
More Complete Word:
“One needs not be prophetic to see great troubles are coming to this nation. Men recognize the foundations upon which they have built are crumbling. As such a search has begun. It has a voice and that voice cries out, “Peace and safety,” 1 Thessalonians 5:3.
“While these Words express the fear which has overtaken them, they have found neither peace nor safety in sustainable measure. These construct for themselves shelters beneath the rocks and ready themselves to hide in these places.
Their hope is in the works of their hands, but because their hands are not guided by My Spirit their efforts are in vain. The intentions of their hearts might be to find “peace and safety” in these troubling times, but their preparations will not save them.
The destruction that is coming will be both sudden (without warning) and it will come in one terrifying wave after another. Both the frequency and intensity will increase like labor pains, but what is being birthed is My judgment, which will be poured out in increasing measure.
Likewise, My people recognize the times in which they are living. Yet their response is much different than that of the world. They will not cry out for the rocks to cover them for I shall be their covering and they shall not seek to hide from the wrath of the Lamb, for the same Lamb who pours out judgment on the earth will pour out mercy and grace upon those who love Him.
While the world hides in their caves, My people will be hidden in the secret place of the Most High. While the world seeks peace and safety through a man, My people will put all their hopes in the one who is both fully God and fully man… Yeshuah.”
Vision of the Secret Place:
In my vision, I was standing alone in a large room. The whole make up of this room was rock, except for one wall, which was covered from floor to ceiling with a thick window. This window was one piece throughout its length. In this room I felt a sense of deep peace. There was no cause for fear or concern. It felt like a fortress and yet it also felt like home. I can only describe it as the place where I belonged.
I looked out the window and saw many people running about. Each had an expression of sheer terror on their face. They were right before me and yet they did not see me. They were even bouncing off the window, yet seemingly unaware anything was behind it. It was only a glimpse and then it was gone. Immediately I was reminded of Psalm 91 and the secret place of the Most High.
In my morning prayer time, I sit in the back of the sanctuary in my church. The church itself is dimly lit except for the 20 foot illuminated cross on the wall. I use a reading lamp for writing and reading the Word. I play soft worship music or instrumentals such as those by Ruth Fazal. This is my prayer closet… and it is my secret place. I realize the place I was in this vision feels very much like my prayer closet. Are they one and the same? (speaking more towards the spirit than the physical location)
The meaning of the vision is enhanced by the more complete understanding which has now been added. Only now this word and this vision are not for me alone. In order to find the secret place we must know where it is and if we have never been there our chances of finding it in the midst of crisis are slim. I encourage you to begin seeking the LORD and asking Him to lead you to the secret place. It is there that we must abide.
Other scriptures laid on my heart to share:
“Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon,” Isaiah 55:6-7.
“O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory,” Psalm 63:1-2.
