Hey you 60-something Eagles!
Hey you 60-something Eagles!
It is time to ‘Take it Easy’
The Eagle came crashing down
I was laying in bed last night and the I saw an Eagle soaring and then suddenly it came crashing down.
Then the Lord reminded me that one of the members, Glenn Frey of the 70’s and 80’s band “The Eagles” had passed away earlier this week, at somewhat of an early age. I saw a post somewhere that said that this band, “The Eagles,” had sold millions of albums. When I was reminded that He had died in his 60’s, the Lord began to show me how many of His prophet’s (Eagles) IN THEIR 60’S had been attacked physically this past year and continue to battle.
I then heard the song “Take It Easy” One of the Eagle’s Greatest Hits in my Spirit. Then the Lord spoke to me and said that, “It is time for His eagles to take it easy.”
Time to rest so that you will be at your best
Many, in their 60’s have been pressing for a long, long time and it has taken a toll on them physically. Now God is calling them back to a refreshing and renewal, because those whom He will continue to use in these last days, will need to be strong, not only in Spirit but in body. Also so that the enemy won’t be able to to take them out early!
He said many of them had been working so hard in His Kingdom and had done many great exploits, but that He had much more for them to do in training the harvesters. He showed me that many had disobeyed the word in the area of resting…
He then said, they must learn to pace themselves… “I have great assignments for them yet in this earth but they must only move when I say move because when they do I will quicken their mortal bodies.”
They that wait upon me will renew their strength
He said that when they only do what He has called them to do and stop trying to do it all, that their bodies would be in sync with heaven and thus eternal life would invade their mortal bodies. He is saying, “Did I not say that “they that wait upon Me shall renew their strength and that they will mount up with wings as Eagles, they will run and not grow weary, walk and not faint?”
Your greatest days are ahead – time to enjoy them
“Yes, I will restore those 60 something Eagles as they learn to only move when I say move and learn to trust those that have come up under them with the weightier tasks of the work of the ministry.
It is time to take your new role… “You are to enter into one of the greatest most enjoyable times of your life and ministry.
Now, learn to pay attention to the times when I say move and when I say rest and it will be well with you and together we will have joy in watching the sons and daughters come into the fullness of what I have called them to be! Then, together with My instruction, we will be very pointed with your days left on earth!
Yes, these days ahead can be your greatest days and I want you to live them in health and prosperity as your soul prospers…. Your soul, (mind, will, and emotions) can only prosper when it is a rest.
I AM asking you to rest now and again you will soar into the completeness of your destiny and you will finish your race well!”
“But [like a boxer] I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached [the gospel] to others, I myself will not somehow be disqualified [as unfit for service],” 1 Corinthians 9:27 AMP.
