Try as you might, you are always going to fall short from God and all He is.

So what is the answer in becoming as He is?

It requires a supernatural work to be accomplished within you and me, that reaches way beyond our own ability to self-improve.

Here’s the secret –

Don’t try!

Surrender from the very beginning and allow Him to form Himself in you by daily changing everything that is unlike Him.

Just rest in Him and ask Him to do the work in you, then respond to Him as He guides and leads you, and work with Him in letting go of what needs to go and taking hold of what needs to be established in you.

Salvation is an ongoing journey with God that happens in you.

It is never complete, there is always more to perfect, so go on the journey with Him and allow Him to make you all He envisioned you to become!

After all, it is not your shortcomings He is counting, but your victories. It is not in your failures He is interested, but your fruit!
