Here and Now!
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Here and Now!
Here and now, here and now we stand
That is all we have
Tomorrow is not guaranteed
And yesterday is gone
Even more distant than a memory
“Someday,” you say, “Someday things will change.”
But someday may never come
Someday is a delay,
In keeping you stuck in the same
Never rising above
Oh wait on The LORD
Here and now;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen thine heart:
Wait, I say, on The LORD.
In my dream there were two doors
One had just closed, the other opened
And when I awakened
I knew, I knew, here and now, without delay
The time had come to walk through
Oh wait on The LORD
Here and now;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen thine heart:
Wait, I say, on The LORD.
Here and now He will show you how
Here and now He will lift you higher
Here and now He will fill you with His Glory
Oh wait on The LORD
Here and now;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen thine heart:
Wait, I say, on The LORD.
Wait on The LORD here and now
Do not tarry and delay
Saying, “Someday, oh, someday.”
Because someday is a delay
And may never come…
Oh wait on The LORD
Here and now;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen thine heart:
Wait, I say, on The LORD…
Oh wait on The LORD
Here and now…
