Heavenlywood: Get God’s Dream Interpretations
Heavenlywood:
Get God’s Dream Interpretations,
Not Man’s Formulas
Beware of Predetermined Interpretations of Dreams!
Make no mistake: Interpretations of dreams and visions, and all other communications by God belong to God. And so, get them from God only.
This is because interpretations belong to God alone. As Joseph said by The Holy Spirit, “Do not interpretations belong to God?” (Genesis 40:8).
Therefore, seek interpretations from God, and not from predetermined formulas by man. Get interpretations from God, and not from predetermined meanings in books, on the internet, and so on.
Please be very careful about the many books, videos and other platforms that teach, for example, that. ‘If you see yellow in your dream then it means this….. If you see green in your dream, then it means that….’
A lot of such teachings are erroneous and misleading.
Many believers miss The Voice of God by following such false teachings and pierce themselves through with many sorrows without knowing.
We can learn and teach how God speaks. But we cannot PREDETERMINE the interpretations of what God speaks to us.
The interpretations of God are not ‘one size fits all’. ‘Yellow’ in my dream might not mean the same thing as ‘yellow’ in your dream. God speaks to each one of us differently.
When you have a dream from God, do not pull out a dream book and such other publications for the interpretation. Rather, pray to God to give you the interpretation He has for you.
Let The Holy Spirit lead you in researching, in understanding your dreams.
Do not be led by man’s wisdom.
“These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual [doing spiritual assessment and analysis by The Spirit and the things of The Spirit],” 1 Corinthians 2:13.
The things of God can only be revealed by God to us through His Spirit, and certainly not by predetermined interpretations taught by man’s wisdom.
As written,
“God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God,” 1 Corinthians 2:10-11.
Write your dreams
It helps greatly to write down your dreams, and go through them, asking God for the interpretation.
When writing a dream, I ask The LORD to help me by His Holy Spirit to write it exactly as He has given it to me: the details, the language-use, everything and all things in the dream.
Amazingly, I get much of the interpretation when writing a dream…..
This was what Daniel did. For it is written, “Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, telling the main facts,” (Daniel 7:1).
(I am always pleasantly surprised to read some dreams I wrote down long ago, their interpretation, the instruction, and the obedience thereof, the outcome, or the outcome yet to come).
Furthermore, as noted in the related Word “Heavenlywood: Production and Interpretation of Dreams By God“, IF LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, you can share your dreams with an anointed person you can trust to help you with the interpretation by God.
This is Biblical. Joseph, anointed and appointed by God to do so, interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh’s chief butler and chief baker respectively:
“And they said to him, “We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.” So Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please,” Genesis 40:8.
If you have difficulty with interpretation, tell your dream to an anointed and appointed brother or sister as led by The Holy Spirit.
“For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope,” Romans 15:4.
Therefore, you can have your dreams interpreted by someone anointed and appointed by God to do so for you. As I noted in the previous related Word, I do this with my wife, and she does the same with me whenever we are each led by The Holy Spirit to do so.
Please only do this (and anything else) if led by The Holy Spirit to do so, not because Jacob says so.
However, it is most important to pray for The Gift of Interpretation as Joseph had, as Daniel had. God will give it to you if you ask Him in faith, without doubting, (James 1:5).
Another way to get interpretations of dreams and visions is to speak in tongues while going through the details bit by bit with The Help of The Holy Spirit. (Always bear in mind that it is God’s message you are decoding. This can only be done by The Spirit of God).
From this coming Pentecost, God is going to VASTLY increase dreams and visions to us.
We must totally depend on The Holy Spirit for the interpretations, rightly dividing The Word of Truth.
As I said previously, dreams constitute an amazing gift by God to man for the exclusive benefit of man. Do not neglect them. And certainly, do not seek the meaning of your dreams from predetermined, formulaic interpretations taught by man’s wisdom.
Dreams from God are for our success in this life and in the life to come.
Again, I say, watch and take note of your dreams to see what instruction God may seal for you to follow, (Habakkuk 2:1; Job 33:14-18).
“For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction. In order to turn man from his deed, And conceal pride from man, He keeps back his soul from the Pit, And his life from perishing by the sword,” Job 33:14-18.
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams,” Acts 2:17.
“I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected,” Habakkuk 2:1.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him,” James 1:5.
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of Jesus Christ by The Will of God, according to The Promise of Life which is in Christ Jesus, (2 Timothy 1:1). As John was, Jacob is the disciple whom JESUS loves, (John 13:23;19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20). And like Paul, Jacob is “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
“And having been perfected, He became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
Awesome. Thank you.
Had a few weird ones recently…
This was something I needed to hear. This brings much clarity to a lot of things I had questions about. Thank you!
