What are we setting our minds on today?

There use to be a saying that if you are so heavenly minded it makes you no earthly good, but I hear The LORD say, “No — it is just the opposite!”

If you are earthly minded, then you are doing heaven no favors or anyone else for that matter!

“For those who are living according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh [which gratify the body], but those who are living according to the Spirit, [set their minds on] the things of the Spirit [His will and purpose].” Romans 8:5 AMP emphasis added.

It is up to us to ‘SET OUR MINDS” on the things of the Spirit today rather than the things of the flesh!

“Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.” Colossians 3:2 emphasis added.

I pray today, LORD, today we choose to set our minds on the things of The Spirit so that we might bring Heaven to earth to those around us!
