Hear My Cry, O God…
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Hear My Cry, O God…
Hear my cry, O God;
Listen to my prayer.
From the ends of the earth
I call to You,
I call as my heart grows faint;
Lead me to the rock
That is higher than I.
For you have been my refuge
You are my sure shelter
Now and forever….
Hear my cry, O God;
Listen to my prayer.
In the middle of the night all alone
I call to You,
I call as my enemies surround me
Lead me to that place of peace
That surpasses all understanding
For You have been my peace
You are my sure strength
Now and forever…
Hear my cry, O God
I look up to You
I humble myself
And pray, and seek Your Face
And turn from my wicked ways
Hear me and forgive me of my sins
Heal my land and deliver me from the evil one!
Hear my cry, O God
Hear my cry…
Hear my cry, O God
Oh I know I have fallen short in every way
Oh I know I need Your Grace every day
Oh forgive me, oh forgive me…
Hear my cry, O God
Hear my cry…
Hear my cry, O God
Hear my cry….
And have mercy upon me… now and forever…

“Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe.” Psalm 61:1-3.
“Hear my prayer, Lord; let my cry for help come to you. Do not hide your face from me when I am in distress. Turn your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly.” Psalm 102:1-2.
“Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord; Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.” Psalm 130:1-4.
“In those days when you pray, I will listen. You will find me when you seek me, if you look for me in earnest. Yes, says the Lord, I will be found by you, and I will end your slavery and restore your fortunes; I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and bring you back home again to your own land.” Jeremiah 29:12-14 TLB
