Hear My Cry, LORD, I ask for The Nations!
Hear My Cry, LORD, I ask for The Nations!
As I listened to the Prophetic Briefing by Cindy Jacobs yesterday, [link here] my heart was breaking for the many areas of division all across our world and the dire need for serious prayer to take back the land.
I have prophesied many things about America — the land that I love — but I can honestly say that ever since I took my vows as an End-time Handmaiden with Sister Gwen Shaw and traveled with YWAM and others to 21 nations, I love The Nations of the world.
In my call to missions and The Nations, I have traveled to all of these places for missions. Some times were brief, many were longer.
These were my joy and privilege to see, minister and love: Brunei, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Guatemala, Haiti, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore.
I say before God and man, my heart was changed forever and enlarged in more ways than I can count.
I am forever grateful! I tell you, do not ever try to tell me God has a divine encounter every step of the way when He orders your path.
My CDTS outreach with YWAM Kona outreach came to an end in Baguio City, Philippines.
We had traveled on a bus on a very narrow road to get there from Manila. At one point, we met a car who had to turn around and go back because he could not pass us.
I show these photos to say, it was the beginning of my decision to go back to Singapore.
At the end of our outreach, and older man and woman on staff at the YWAM base in Baguio came to me and said, in our prayer time today, The LORD told us to give you this (some money) and tell you to go back to Singapore, because He has called you to The Nations.
When I stopped crying, Francoise, a woman from France on my CDTS outreach, who was going back to HI to do another YWAM school.
She said, “Sandi, I will go back with you, because you have never traveled The Nations alone.”
We went to our surprised leader, who agreed to take us in a taxi to the airport so we could change our ticket and return.
They charged us extra money, and I did not have that much, so Francois paid it.
When we were boarding the plane, a man who had overheard our conversation about the price of my ticket, turned around and handed me $20.00.
So I guess I could say, this was the beginning of my journey to live by faith alone, and leave the money issue with The One Who owns it all!
I quickly caught on to what God meant when He said. “The LOVE of money is the root of all evil”.
How very sad to see it as a stronghold in America and many Nations in these end-times.
When we arrived back at the YWAM Singapore base unannounced, Alan Lim, the base leader was greatly surprised to see us, but he needed hospitality staff, so he welcomed us to stay.
Immediately, we had a guest from Indonesia who had housed YWAMers and supported them in Indonesia.
He needed a place to stay while his wife gave birth to their baby in Singapore. I told him my Indonesia outreach story about traveling to an island offshore to minister to the women and children, when my interpreter said my suitcase — with my Bible and all my clothes — was too heavy, and he threw it overboard! All I had was what I was wearing!
So he went shopping and bought a mirror and some needs for the YWAM base and brought me back a Bible like the one I lost.
After He left in his limousine with his driver to return to his home, he sent his driver back to the base to get food and feed me and my friend for a few days support from the USA.
Lesson learned over and over: Beloved, God is not broke and HE pays for what He orders. He supplies our every need!
Soon after that, I was serving breakfast to a guest speaker who was finishing her last day of teaching to the DTS.
It was my first time to meet Jean Darnall, of whom I had never heard.
This much I can tell you, I am forever grateful that The LORD allowed me to serve her.
As she turned to go pack, she said, “By the way, do you like Estee Lauder products?”
I gulped and said, “That is all I use! But they drowned in my suitcase.”
She said, “Good, because The LORD said to leave mine here for you along with all of my clothes!”
Then she said, “Goodbye dear, ‘You need to get on with it!'” ( I later heard that phrase as I read her story…. 😀 )
Beloved, I realize The LORD is having me share this today for someone who really needs to hear it. God is the best provider, teacher, lover, savior, and deliverer!
And did I say, Father and Promise Keeper! He is the King and the King of Surprise beginnings and endings. He deserves ALL the Glory.
Later I discovered she was world renowned. She grew up and received her calling in the USA where she first served as a pastor and later, she and her husband, Elmer, founded a Foursquare Church and a Bible College in The UK. Her roots in the Foursquare Church went back the movement’s founder, Aimee Semple McPherson.
There is so much I was to learn about her but one thing hit home. I learned this much later, that she was called out one time by Kathryn Kuhlman, who pointed her finger at Jean and said, “And you need to get on with it”!
So as the expression goes… she paid it forward!
Jean was a global influencer. She and her husband, Elmer planted churches and bible schools all over the globe.
Jean passed away at age 96. As I relive my story, I can tell you, my heart overflows with God’s goodness and I am so humbled with the servants He chose to use in my life who gave all!
With a heart overflowing with gratitude, I pay tribute to all of them here. I could not have made it this far without them.
Thank you Gwen Shaw, Thank you Loren Cunningham, Thank you Paul Hawkins, Thank you Dean Sherman, Thank you Uncle Leslie (the only real dad I had).
Thank you Joy Dawson, Thank you Jean Darnall, Thank you Nora Lam, Thank you Prophet Roderick Tay, Thank you Jack Wright, Thank you Oral Roberts.
Thank you Shirley Guthmann, Thank You Merle Henderson, Thank you Derek Prince, Thank you Costa Deir, Thank you Dan Betzer and Pastor Connie.
Thank you Lis and Brad Wright, Thank you Reba Rawls, Thank you Joyce Houston, Thank you Len Sisson, Thank you Boogin Scruggs, Thank you Hugh and Jody Brashear.
Thank you Maxine Mackey, Thank you Melissa Milam, Thank you Russ Porcella, Thank you Angus and Jill MacKillop and Thank You to so many others who have influenced, mentored and loved me along this long journey.
Only God knows how deeply they all imparted my life. I humbly honor them for being a part of my preparation for a call that I answered so late in life after raising my two sons as a single parent.
When I lived in Singapore on staff with YWAM, I had a divine encounter with His Sanctuary church and the Prophet/ Pastor Roderick Tay.
He called me up front one Sunday and invited me to attend his School of the Prophets training.
At the end of the training class, He called me forward and said, “The LORD is sending your forth as a Prophet — and I am passing my Mantle to you. You will not have to announce your girt or call, it will make room for you. You are called to The Nations!”
I never saw myself as a prophet, but I just knew I was different in the way I perceived and carried out what The LORD was speaking to me. What an experience, the anointing was so strong that I remained in the presence of The LORD for three days.
Ever since I was saved at the age of nine years old, I wanted to go to Israel and God had a plan.
Who knew that deep desire would take me halfway around the world, for to fulfill that dream!
Pastor Rod took me and a team from his Church to Israel, Brunei, Egypt and the Philippines.
I feel like my story is continuing, as I am blessed to be a part of His Kingdom Prophecy who are reaching The Nations as well.
God, you are amazing!
Today, my heart is burdened to Pray and sing the song given me by Sister Gwen Shaw — “I Ask for The Nations”.
Unfortunately, I cannot find where my song sheet, is but as you pray in faith for the
nations, remember to call them by name as you pray as The LORD leads.
“I Ask for The Nations,
I Call them by Name,
I ask for The Nations In Jesus Name.
I ask for America, I call it by name,
I ask for America in Jesus name.
And all The Nations as well.”

Dear Sandi….
Such wonderful stories, wonderful memories of God’s faithfulness. Bless you for sharing your special treasured memories. A life of faith and trust in God is the only currency you needed then – and now. He is Jehovah-Jireh!
Thanks, Elizabeth. It has been a wonderful adventure and time of learning to live by faith. It has been a time of reliving many of them as I try to write this book…it isn’t about me but about what I have learned about myself and others as I trusted him for everything. I appreciate your kind words. I have been very blessed because I never got to go until my kiddos graduated from college and then I was delayed 4.5 years when my Nana was raped and robbed and the Lord said that was my mission to take care of her. Basically, that was the most important thing I ever obeyed for sure Blessings, my friend, we all have a story, Sandi
