He Will Show You, Things To Come
“However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth. For He shall not speak of Himself, but whatever He hears, He shall speak. And He will announce to you things to come,” John 16:13.
Many of us, did not grow in the things of the Spirit, as we were intended. Every person will have to ask themselves, why not?
In this day and hour, we can claim to have anything and everything; we might proclaim that we are like the apostles and even like the early Church. It’s quite likely, that we’re not. We were supposed to be; it was meant to be.
Jesus started out saying in the beginning of this writing, that it was necessary that He had to tell them some things. He began here, by saying to them, “Don’t be offended.” The truth is, we don’t have time to be offended or get our feelings hurt or to get our dander up, as we used to say. The hour is too critical; there is too much that is going on in our time; things that were written, are coming to pass at a severely rapid pace. And we are not ready or prepared!
Let other people do what they want; it may be irritating or even boring to many, but some, have an ear to listen. Then listen. When we received this inheritance of the baptism of the Holy Ghost, we were given some promises. God has kept some of us alive, to testify about some things. Our folk went all over this country, and even to other parts of the world, saying this promise of the Spirit, was still for all of us today. To your children, your children’s children; those who are afar off; as many as the Lord our God shall call. The same Gifts; the same Power; the same Demonstration.
There was a time, when people here, were much more hungry for the things of the Spirit than they are today. Whatever the Holy Ghost had shone to another person, we all wanted to hear it. It was meant to be that way. We rooted for one another. What happened to the Power that was supposed to come upon us; the Spirit is supposed to show us things to come. Dear Lord have mercy on us; we simply have got to know what we’re facing. The Church, was supposed to mature; our Spiritual abilities, are so far below what many of us wanted; what we were told we could have.
Forget the fakes and the look-a-likes. Too many people now are saying that the Holy Ghost is showing them things; when He isn’t. That’s not judging; that’s testing the spirits.* Many of us have been through too much; we’ve paid too big a price; we’ve been denied; suppressed; run off and shunned for our hunger. You never mind that now.
Before, we all wanted to go deeper into the Spirit; that’s what this experience was all about then. And many will get back to that; we will have no choice. The Spirit must show us things now; otherwise, we will surely perish with the rest. Holy Spirit of God, show me. I want to see.
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but try the spirits to see if they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world,” 1 John 4:1.*

Yes, LORD, I want to see. Show us Your Glory. Expose and reveal. Thank You for YOUR Truth, HOLY SPIRIT.
