He Will NOT Knock Forever!
If I where you, I would not put the Father off. Tomorrow is not promised and He will not knock forever!
Knocking is a sign of respect and humility for those visiting others; unlike the enemy who tries to rob and break his way in by forced entry, (John 10:10). The Holy Spirit is a gentleman and He will not force entry, because it is free will and or by choice! However, the King James Version of the dictionary says that “knock” means to strike, drive against or a heavy blow!
Tonight, I heard not one knock but two as I drifted off to sleep and they both awakened me! Both times, I listened closely and no one was at my door! It was just as the same as when God called me (audible voice) to be saved and when He called me as a prophet of God, because it got my attention!
God is knocking and not only is He knocking, but He is telling His people to knock as well, because it is His good pleasure to give us what we are knocking for!
In fact, He said, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: (the Holy Spirit is saying do not give up in this season but keep knocking diligently) for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (As you can see here to knock is to get God’s attention because of opportunity) or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” (Matthew 7:7-11).
The heavens are open and God is ready to meet the needs of the righteous and those who have been faithful to Him!
God is also making a call to those who do not know Him as their Father to come! Come on somebody, the LORD is knocking at the heart and the door of his people in this season!
Won’t you let Him in? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their LORD, when He will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto Him immediately. (Do not put the LORD off in this season because who knows when He may come again?)
Blessed are those servants, whom the LORD when He cometh, shall find watching. Verily I say unto you, that He shall gird Himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if He shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
And this know, that if the good man of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. Be ye therefore ready also: for the son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not, (Luke 12:26,36-40). God is knocking at the hearts of His people do not allow him to walk away without you opening the door, but instead answer the door this just may be your last visit!
For I hear the Holy Spirit saying, “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, LORD, LORD, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: then shall ye begin to say, we have eaten and drunk in thy presence, (meaning you praised him, danced and shouted!
You even paid your tithes and your offerings and you came to church every Sunday and song in the choir) and thou hast taught in our streets. But He shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out,” (Luke 13:24-28).
Revelation 3:20, states, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.”
Won’t you please, let Him in?
