We all have heard and know very well the story in the Bible about Moses. Moses was a man who refused to accept that which he saw to be wrong. He saw the Children of God being abused by the Egyptians, and he did Refuse to be part of it. But that is not all he saw. He saw that the Nation of Egypt and the Pharaoh was headed for Judgment for what they were doing and FOR HOW THEY WERE LIVING.

Moses then made A CHOICE and he decided to REFUSE TO BE PART OF IT ALL. He did leave Egypt, [after he stood up and demonstrated his belief by defending a Hebrew Slave resulting in the death of an Egyptian]. He then was FORCED TO BECOME A SHEEP HERDER for the next 40 years on the backside of the Desert.

The Word says it this way: Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, Because he preferred to share the oppression [suffer the hardships] and bear the shame of the people of God rather than to have the fleeting enjoyment of a sinful life. Now the Choice he made cost him something very great; it cost him his future and brought Moses to great suffering. Even though the story of Moses and his success to go back to Egypt and lead his people free from slavery is still talked about today, still MOSES DID SUFFER A LOT. Just consider all the things Moses had to go through BECAUSE OF HIS DECISION.

***Now I wanted to place this here to make a definite point.

IF MOSES WERE TO BE IN AMERICA TODAY AND CHOOSE TO SUFFER THAN TO ENJOY A SINFUL LIFE, and in choosing he LEFT HIS FAMILY AND COMPANIONS….. he would be LABELED by the Religious Crowd…..;

“LEGALISTIC”

It seems today that ANYONE WHO REFUSES TO JOIN IN WITH THE SIN… is called a name, and that name is LEGALISTIC and immediately he becomes one of those narrow minded people who (to them) thinks himself to be holier than anyone else. Well consider the story of Moses and see the likeness.

I want to remind you of this one thing: ***((( MOSES NAME APPEARS IN THE ROLE CALL OF THOSE OF GREAT FAITH. His name will be forever spoken of in GREAT RESPECT because he DID THE RIGHT THING.)))*** Regardless of the COST OF HIS DECISION TO REFUSE… he did enter the Book. Perhaps there has never been a greater one than Moses, but if you examine the others listed in the Faith Chapter of Hebrews 11, you will find a whole bunch more who stand with him. The word says that for these who did refuse to live according to this world and in sin…. THE WORLD IS NOT EVEN WORTHY OF THEM. They all died in FAITH, and stand today REWARDED FOR THEIR DESIRE TO PLEASE THE LORD AND NO BODY ELSE.

Hebrews 11:24-26
“²⁴ [Aroused] by faith Moses, when he had grown to maturity and become great, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,
²⁵ Because he preferred to share the oppression [suffer the hardships] and bear the shame of the people of God rather than to have the fleeting enjoyment of a sinful life.
²⁶ He considered the contempt and abuse and shame [borne for] the Christ (the Messiah Who was to come) to be greater wealth than all the treasures of Egypt, for he looked forward and away to the reward (recompense).“

As for Me and my House, I REFUSE to be dragged into the SIN OF COMPROMISE in today’s Church. I REFUSE to be worldly just to please the World. I will not join in and be a part of “Egypt”, but will run away with my Lord, into the desert of rejection. I would rather suffer than to approve the NIGHTCLUB MENTALITY OF THE AMERICAN CHURCH TODAY.
