He is Faithful!
I read a beautiful account of faith this morning, found in Genesis 24, where Abraham sends his servant in search of a wife for his son Isaac.
The very root of the word faithful is faith. To be found faithful one must walk in faith.
To see God’s faithfulness, faith must be practiced.
Abraham, Abraham’s servant, Isaac, Rebekah, Laban, and Milcah, each one had to step out in faith for God’s eternal plan to be completed, for Isaac to have his bride. Each person had to want to cooperate and walk with God.
Because Abraham was old, he had to trust his servant to do as he asked, and not take a wife from the Canaanites, but from his own family.
Abraham’s servant had to promise to this, take 10 camels, servants, and his masters goods and go to his masters land and family to find a wife for Isaac.
He prayed beside the well of water for her to come forth, and believed God would bring the right woman, and He did.
As Rebekah humbled herself and walked in love and kindness with Abraham’s servant and his animals, it was revealed who she was, and her family line.
And, her brother Laban and mother Milcah had to trust God upon hearing the servant’s testimony about his master Abraham, to allow Rebekah to leave with him. R
ebekah yielded to God’s plan, and God’s plan was sealed. Isaac waited patiently for the servants return, and when he saw them coming, and Rebekah dismounting from the camel to come to him, God’s plan was coming to completion, and they were married shortly thereafter.
Beloved, if you will step out in faith, God will move mountains for His plan to come forth in and through your life.
He needs your cooperation, and every decision you make in His will has an eternal purpose and outcome.
Trust Him today and walk in obedience to His will, because what you do will affect someone else s life eternally.
Make up your mind to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and see your prayers answered and your life abundantly full, FOR HE IS FAITHFUL!
God Bless You, you are in my prayers
