He is ALL You Need!
3 Words in 1
He is ALL You Need!
Know what? I have seen beautiful sunsets and snow covered hillsides before.
But I didn’t have a personal connection with that beauty.
I did not fully appreciate it as a gift to me, until I saw it in the midst of a trial or difficulty.
THEN the beauty of the LORD was magnified all around me, and His majesty, His largeness if you will, was pronounced and all of a sudden this beauty I was beholding of the LORD was all there was, and it filled my heart and brought peace in the storm, that peace that passes all understanding… know why?
Because He is all you need!
“Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it,” Psalm 90:16-17 (KJV).
Following the Teachings
If we do not believe and follow the teachings of the Holy Bible, which are truth, then we will be in error and we as well as those we lead will fall into a ditch… the blind leading the blind on what we think the truth is.
LORD, you are not the author of confusion, but the author of life. You are my Truth and your Holy Spirit is my Teacher.
As I go to your Word, lead me in the way everlasting for you are faithful.
Increase my discernment in what I hear others say and what I might read apart from Your word. Be my plumb-line and warn me of anything false.
Thank you for loving me and keeping me close to You. Amen
A Short Prayer
“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David,” Isaiah 55:1-3 (KJV).
Holy Spirit make us hungry and thirsty for more of you. Cause the walls and the hindrances to coming to you to fall.
Help us to lay down frivolous time consuming things for You.
Thank you for your love and free invitation to dine with you that we may delight ourselves in each other.
Our ears are tuned to you and we will hear and come quickly.
Thank you Lord, for you are changing my desires and renewing my mind right now, Amen.
God Bless You, you are in my prayers
