Have You Left Me, LORD?
Tonight, I feel a discouragement among the Believers.
This has been a difficult season and our faith has been tested. The Warriors are weary. We are “trying” to have faith yet fear has raised its ugly head.
Some are asking, “Have you left me, Lord?” And I heard the Father say, “Never, My Love.”
Be encouraged, Child of God. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for The LORD your God goes with you; He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you. In His Love, He will NEVER fail you!”
And I heard that song from the 60’s called, “Never My Love” by Association,
“Beloved. I will never leave you. I will never fail you. I will never hold back My Goodness and My Blessings.
I will never forsake you. My Love for you will never end. I will never let you alone for My Spirit dwells in you forever.
Even when you cannot feel My Presence, even on the days that you feel abandoned, I AM right beside you. For The LORD is your Keeper: The LORD is the Shade upon your right hand.
I never grow tired or weary. I never slumber or sleep. I never judge you according to your actions, Beloved.
ALL judgment was poured out at The Cross. You are accepted in the Beloved. You fear that your words have caused Me to be distant from you. This is a lie, Dear One.
We are One now. I know you will have good days and other days when your faith seems to flee. But know this, My Child. You have been perfected for all time by the Blood of the Lamb.
I have given you the Faith OF The LORD Jesus Christ. You do not have to earn your way into My Heart. You are already there, Precious One. Our connection is secure for eternity.
How could I leave you when we are One? I will never desert you or abandon you. I AM not a neglectful Father, but I AM Abba Father. I will never withdraw from you.
I AM your Savior. Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you, Beloved. Behold, I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands.
When the enemy causes you to doubt, and you ask Me if I have forsaken you, here is My answer, “NEVER, MY LOVE.”
Behold, I AM with you always even unto the end of the age.”
“I will NEVER LEAVE OR FORSAKE you” : Strong’s Hebrew 2308, 7503 and 5803: “to never cease: never fail, never hold back, never forsake, never leave off, never be lacking, never let alone, never neglect, never refrain, never come to an end, never desert, never neglect, never withdraw, never let drop.”
“Be strong and courageous . Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for The LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6.
“The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8.
“…and behold, I AM with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20.
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for He has said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” So that we may boldly say, “The LORD is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”” Hebrews 13:5-6.
“The LORD is your Keeper: The LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.” Psalm 121:5.
“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.” Isaiah 49:15-16.
“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” Romans 8:14-16.
“that all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.” John 17:21.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20.
~ Deborah Waldron Fry
It is more likely that God’s people would forsake God, rather than God forsake His people. St Augustine wrote about the *city of God in about the year 426 and Robert Burnell wrote about the **city of God in 1980.
