Have Unwavering Faith!
“5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of The LORD.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways,” James 1:5-8.
The subject of faith is a most delicate study.
Anyone who wants to understand how God works and why, will do well to study [about how many who talk about faith do not receive what they talk about], because of lack of faith.
The above verse [v.5] states simply that all who lack wisdom let him ask of God….
There is wisdom to be understood and received from God, and the lord does say you who ask for wisdom: you shall receive it!
Then the next verse simply states why many do not receive understanding.
The answer is: they must ask [in faith] and not waver in unbelief.
The qualification then to receive anything from God is faith.
The scriptures tell all that:
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him,” Hebrews 11:6.
If a person asks about the wisdom to understand; faith in God is a must.
Without faith, one will not understand God entirely, for God is a faith God himself.
The scriptures tell us that by faith God created all things. God himself works by faith, and in all he does, he believes.
The scriptures tell us that God said that even our salvation rest upon wither or not we ask in faith! [see Ephesians 2:8 below] nothing at all will happen until we believe.
If one has faith, then he has the promise whosoever shall call upon the lord shall be saved!
“but if one does not believe, he does not receive. One must ask in faith, to receive,” Romans 10:8.
So what is faith?
Answer: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen,” Hebrews 11:1.
Faith according to the above verse in Hebrews believes in something before it happens. It says it this way… True faith is “Substance” [reality of something not yet received] and faith is “Evidence” [proof] of something not yet “Seen” with the eyes or understanding.
Faith is beyond seeing.
Faith is believing God to perform something before one receives the actual thing… but, the faith is reality and substance [of things only yet hoped for].
Note this:
Any person who says they ask in faith, but add: I will believe when I actually see it… Is not asking in faith.
Remember, faith is believing before you receive!
Note the above statement!
Faith is believing God before it happens in reality.
Remember Abraham, when God told him to offer his own son upon the altar of sacrifice?
Abraham believed God, took his son and went into the place of sacrifice. When the servant with Abraham and his son ask: I see the wood for a sacrifice, but where is the offering or lamb?
Abraham said to him, you wait here while we go up there to sacrifice and we will return in a while.
In other words Abraham did believe that God was going to give him a lamb for the sacrifice. So he went through all the motions of offering his son, and at the very moment of death…
God provided a sacrifice. The LORD said to Abraham: now I know that you believe me! [see Genesis 22:1-19]
If one ask in faith, then wavers in belief [doubt], he is like the waves upon the sea, tossed about… Many waver and are never settled upon faith fact.
The “Fact” is… God will be moved by faith. If any person will take God upon His Word or promises… God will perform all… and say “Yes amen” all God’s promises are yes and amen!
One who is believing by faith [true faith in Gods promise(s)] will receive, because God is faithful to do all he promises.
One who doubts, the scripture says should know that he will receive…. nothing. God himself made that promise… Nothing to one who doubts!
So, if we talk of faith, we must believe God, anything less is not faith, but becomes doubt.

I have posted this teaching word in obedience to my Spirit teacher. LORD help all move in faith believing …. and not waver.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,” Ephesians 2:8.
