Holiness

“Holiness” is God’s word for being saved and living right!

It’s also God’s word for being filled with His Spirit and being righteous, because of His righteousness that works in us.

It is the process of being changed and formed into His image and likeness.

It is godliness personified.

It is Christ alive in us, making us to be as he is in this world.

It is living in harmony with the Will of The Father and allowing the Holy Spirit to express His nature and character and personality in us and through us every day, with the evidence of His life being expressed through us as it is stated in Galatians 5:20-23.

“Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the LORD.” Hebrews 12:14.

There is no “Accepting Jesus”, without a yielding to His Spirit drawing us to surrender our lives to the Will of the Father and to become one with Him as we live to follow and to obey him every day.

“Idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Against such there is no law,” Galatians 5:20-23.

Haters of Truth – Lovers of Deception

“For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, and will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions,” 2 Timothy 4:3-4 AMPC.

A time will come when men will hate the truth and will hate those who preach the truth – This is what Paul is prophesying for the future.

A little more than two thousand years later, we find ourselves right smack in the middle of his prophecy!

Why aren’t we seeing this happening on a grand scale today?

Because, sadly, the Truth is NOT BEING PREACHED on a grand scale today!

For the better part the Church today (generally speaking) is in agreement with much it should be warning against!

Preachers have too much respect for men (and their position) and too little fear for God to live in right-standing themselves, never mind to preach the Truth to others!

It’s a far better option and happier world when each one is left to practice and worry about their own sin, and not to be too concerned about looking at the sin of others – so we all happily sin together “without any condemnation”!

Have we entered the dark days Paul prophesied?

It is an undeniable fact – and how suddenly it has come!

It literary seems that it has happened almost overnight!

It has not been too long ago that the world was quite a different place to live in. Within a minuet amount of time we find ourselves living in a world that is completely unknown to many of us.

A world flooded with violence and boiling over with wickedness.

A world where people are seeking to be evil and where they seem to hate everything that is good.

Just look at what has happened to the USA in a manner of years – look at how what is right and what is upstanding is being resisted, and how what is horribly evil is being demanded, celebrated and sought after by the masses.

Look at what has happened in our own, once peaceful country!

We have entered a time of great wickedness upon the earth where bloodshed, violence, murder and evil have become the norm of everyday life in a world flooded by darkness.

Today I wish to encourage every true Spirit-filled believer to let your Light shine as never before.

Even if it feels as though you are being pressed in on every side, never compromise and always remember that you are God’s only voice on earth, and the only Light and salt that can influence your surroundings!

You may feel as though you are in the minority, and you are right to feel so – but God has not forgotten about you – He Is with you all the way to the very end!
