Hallelujah at Israel’s 70th Anniversary
Dear Friends,
What a celebration it has been: the 70th Anniversary of Israel, especially the beautifully orchestrated opening night ceremony ending with that magnificent Hallelujah song, also at the same time sung by many audiences all over the world.
Click on the link below to view and hear this prophetically appropriate song as we believe we are entering with Israel into one of the most blessed and exciting times of their nation’s history.
An immense tribute “Hallelujah” to what soon will come to Israel as promised by the Lord as I wrote in the article below.
“Israel’s coming fullness”
Paul says:
“If their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!” (Romans 11:12).
This wonderful verse highlights the hope and assurance that God, having used negative aspects of Israel’s history for His glory, will through their fullness bring His plan of redemption to a majestic finale. As Paul puts it: “it will be life from the dead.”
Throughout his epistle to the Romans, Paul seeks to enlighten Gentile believers to the fact that after the full, preordained number of Gentiles are grafted into the tree and commonwealth of Israel, God plans to pour out overwhelming mercy on the physical children of Israel and graft them back into their own tree.
Paul is stating, for those who are of honest and humble mind, that redemption will not end with the Gentiles, but with the restoration of the kingdom to Israel and the salvation of her people.
I believe, as the Jews are obviously being gathered by God from the ends of the earth at this very time, that we are on the threshold of this decisive moment in history – the completion of the grafting in of Gentiles to the tree and commonwealth of Israel and the restoration of the kingdom to the children of Israel.
Just before his departure, Jesus’ disciples anxiously asked Him, “Will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” (Acts 1:6).
The Lord answered that before the Kingdom could be restored, the fullness of the Gentiles must be saved – the same point later confirmed by Paul.
With the ongoing massive immigration of Jews back to their homeland and the rebirth of a sovereign state of Israel, it is clear we are indeed on the threshold of tremendous happenings.
It is important to note that all of God’s promises to His chosen people are linked to them being physically located in the Land of Israel.
Strangely enough, this is not the case with use Gentiles, who can be anywhere when God chooses to extend His hand of grace to us.
The Jewish people, however, are being told again and again by their prophets to return to their land so that God can pour out His Spirit upon them and circumcise their hearts.
“Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely.
They shall be My people, and I will be their God; then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.
And I will make an everlasting Covenant with them, that I will not turn away for doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me.
Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this Land, with all My heart and with all My soul,” Jeremiah 32:37-41.
As was the case throughout Israel’s long history, we can certainly expect the Devil to do everything possible to block the fulfillment of this wonderful destiny God has laid out for His people.
As such, the battle is certainly not over yet. Israel has been forced to fight five wars and endure many inhumane and beastly acts of terrorism since her rebirth as a sovereign nation. Israel’s Muslim neighbors have made clear they are not done trying to eradicate the Jewish state, and thereby thwart God’s plans.
“We shall fight on Saturday and then on Sunday,” is the battle cry many Muslims chant every time war has broken out, broadcasting their plan to first kill the Jews and then the Christians.
For the true Muslim, his faith in Allah obligates him to participate in the battle, the jihad to subjugate the entire world under Islam.
The tolerant secular mindset of the West often fails to understand this, mistaking Muslim patience for reciprocal tolerance.
It is not possible to overemphasize the seriousness of this challenge.
Israel more than any other nation has for decades been suffering the consequences of this religious jihad, this widespread Muslim intolerance for the existence of a non-Muslim state in the Middle East.
But just as in the past, God will cause His people to have the victory again and again over their enemies. For it is His honor that is at stake.
Through the psalmist God states that the final outcome of the present strife will be the setting of “My King on My holy hill of Zion,” (Psalm 2:6).
The King and the Kingdom will be restored to Israel, as decreed by God, and the nations of the world better wake up to this divinely set purpose!
The consequences of the nations’ unwillingness to serve this heavenly purpose will be their utter destruction!
For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, and those nations shall be utterly ruined, (Isaiah 60:12).
Or the nations can partake of the tremendous results of Israel’s fullness, which Paul can only explain as “life from the dead.”
So great will be the final outcome of Israel’s full restoration that God calls upon heaven and earth to rejoice when “He with all His heart and all His soul will plant them in His land” and comfort them double for all the immense suffering and humiliation and persecution they have endured, (Jeremiah 32:37-42).
The manifold passages concerning all these events relating to Israel’s coming fullness and restoration are so numerous and exciting that it is difficult to understand the blindness, arrogance and lack of support by nearly every nation of the world.
Even those nations that claim to believe in God’s Word often fail grasp what He is doing here.
Paul warns the Gentile believers “not to be arrogant” or “wise in their own conceits,” but sadly, despite this warning, many Christians today fail to get excited and supportive about Israel’s coming restoration.
Ezekiel’s prophecy of the dry bones coming back to life and being filled with the Spirit of God is perhaps the clearest and most recognized prophecy concerning Israel’s coming fullness, (Ezekiel 37).
It is at that time that I believe Gentile and Jewish believers TOGETHER will enter their greatest and most powerful time in history, doing the same and even greater works than Jesus and His early followers.
It will be a tremendous time, truly making the glory of the latter house greater than that of the former days of the Acts of the Apostles.
It will be the time of restitution of all things.
The restitution of the prophetic ministry of Moses and Elijah – the two end time witnesses of God – the restitution of the Tribes of Israel, the restitution of Israel’s final borders, the restitution of the Ark and the Holy Temple, as described in the final eight chapters of Ezekiel.
This is all exemplified in the Revelation of John the Apostle, where we find the tribes restored, as well as the Temple and those who worship there; the restitution of the centrality of Jerusalem – not Rome, Utah, Canterbury or Geneva.
Lance Lambert once took issue with the almost universal problem of most Christians today ignoring the centrality of Jerusalem and Israel in God’s end time plans.
If, as many theologians maintain, since the coming of Christ and the birth of the Church there is no more specific biblical interest in the land or people of Israel, why do we find the book of Revelation – definitely a book describing end time events – almost singularly concerned with Israel and Jerusalem, Lambert asked?
The two witnesses will prophesy in Jerusalem, the 144,000 followers of the Lamb are found standing on Mount Zion, and so on!
Surely any honest reader of and believer in the Bible can only draw one conclusion: God will restore His people and all things connected with Israel!
As Paul said: If their fall was riches for the world, how much more their fullness?
May we all become part and recipients of that comfort and blessing, I pray.
