Growing and Living Among Briers & Thorns
It’s been almost 30 years ago since I was given certain scriptures. I knew they were powerful and I knew they had come to me for a purpose.
When the prodigal has been through the dregs of despair and fault, there’s no one left to go to. No one, but the Father. Once you have truly been in His house, if you left it for whatever reason, you’ll learn just how well off you really were. It is written, when you’re forgiven much, you love much.
This is not about me. It’s about you. And about Him.
Let us testify, that when you seek Him with your whole heart, you will find Him. If you study the Word, fast and pray, and desire it for the right reason, it’s going to come.
Many of us did not know we were called for a certain purpose, or a particular time. It was not revealed to us, until the revealer chose to do so. This message was confirmed on this site [Facebook], twice in the past few hours. God uses, whatever He chooses.
We might as well face up to the truth about something. Many of our experiences in the spirit realm, lack what the early church had, and even more so, what the men and women of God in the Old Testament had.
It was never meant to be that way. For example, the Spirit entered into Ezekiel and stood him on his feet. It also took him up and it carried him away. Call it visions or dreams, or genuine experiences in the spirit realm, it happened. Paul, was taken to far away places.
God spoke to this prophet and said that His people were being very “impudent and hardhearted.” They were disobedient and had been, for quite some time.
God wanted this prophet to go to them. He said, “All My words that I shall speak unto thee, receive it in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.” “Whether they will hear, or forbear…,” meaning, whether they hear it, receive it, or not. (See Ezekiel 2:5, 3:10).
He called them a very rebellious house. We are talking about God’s people.
When I read years ago what God told the prophet after this, I was somewhat disturbed. He told Ezekiel, ‘you have to do this, it is your assignment, but they are not going to hearken unto you, because they won’t hearken unto me.’
This frightened me then and it still does even now at times. I grew up around church people and church leaders, church saints and all the higher ups. Even as a small boy with the Holy Ghost, I saw that there could be penalties.
“Fear them not,” – neither be dismayed at their looks. Don’t worry about what they are going to say back to you. I’m going to make your face adamant as flint. You are going to stand up to them and tell them what I tell you to say; and you’re not going to back down, (Ezekiel 3:8-9).
If we study further on, we learn why the servant of God had to go. I had no experience at this at the time, and I’m glad I had no idea just what kind of spirits were going to come against me. Even scorpions.
The cry here is this. God called many people, a long time ago. It does not matter whether you’ve been asleep, rolled with the flow, or been pushed out. A call has gone forward; you cannot deny it, even if you wished to.
God does not care about man’s rules or the biased system we’ve tried to set up in the church. The Holy Ghost, is going to begin rising up in those ordained for this hour.
The strength to speak, will come. He will help us. Our calling, is already made sure.
