GRACE:
God is the God of all Grace:
First Peter 5:10 “But the God of all grace, He calling us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, He will perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”
God is the Giver of Grace:
Psalm 84:11 “For Jehovah God is a sun and shield; Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness nor shadow of turning. “
God’s throne, the throne of Grace:
Hebrews 4:16 “Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Grace:
Zechariah 12:10 “And I will pour on the house of David, and on the people of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be bitter over Him, as the bitterness over the first-born.”
Hebrews 10:29 “Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy of punishment, the one who has trampled the Son of God, and who has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?”
Grace was upon Christ:
Luke 2:40 “And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom. And the grace of God was on Him.”
Romans 3:24 “being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
Christ spoke with Grace:
Psalm 45:2 “Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee forever.”
Luke 4:22 “And all bore witness to Him and wondered at the gracious words which came out of His mouth. And they said, Is this not Joseph’s son?”
Christ was full of Grace:
John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and of truth.”
Came by Christ Grace:
John 1:17 “For the Law came through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”
Romans 5:15 “but the free gift shall not be also like the offense. For if by the offense of the one many died, much more the grace of God, and the gift in grace; which is of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.”
Grace was Given by Christ:
First Corinthians 1:4 “I thank my God always on your behalf for the grace of God given you in Jesus Christ.”
Grace Foretold by the prophets:
First Peter 1:10 “About which salvation the prophets sought out and searched out, prophesying concerning the grace for you.”
Riches of Grace, exhibited in God’s kindness through Christ:
Ephesians 2:7 “so that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”
Glory of Grace, exhibited in our acceptance in Christ:
Ephesians 1:6 “to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He has made us accepted in the One having been loved.”
Grace is Described as:
Great:
Acts 4:33 “And the apostles gave witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus with great power. And great grace was on them all.”
Sovereign:
Romans 5:21 “so that as sin has reigned to death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Rich:
Ephesians 1:7 “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”
Ephesians 2:7 “so that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”
Exceeding:
Second Corinthians 9:14 “and in their prayer for you, who long after you, because of the exceeding grace of God on you.”
Manifold:
First Peter 4:10 “each one as he received a gift, ministering it to yourselves as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
All-sufficient:

All-abundant:

Salvation:

Second Thessalonians 1:11 “Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of the calling and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power.”
Second Thessalonians 1:12 “that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
The success and completion of the work of God to be attributed to Grace:
Zechariah 4:7 “Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain; and he shall bring forth the top stone with shoutings, Grace! Grace to it!”
Inheritance of the promises by Grace:
Romans 4:16 “Therefore it is of faith so that it might be according to grace; for the promise to be made sure to all the seed, not only to that which is of the Law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.”
Justification by Grace, opposed to that by works:
Romans 4:4 “But to him working, the reward is not reckoned according to grace, but according to debt.”

SAINTS:
Are heirs of Grace:
First Peter 3:7 “Likewise, husbands, live together according to knowledge, giving honor to the wife as to the weaker vessel, the female, as truly being co-heirs together of the grace of life, not cutting off your prayers.”
Are under Grace:
Romans 6:14 “Even as David also says of the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness without works.”
Receive Grace, from Christ:
John 1:16 “And out of His fullness we all have received, and grace for grace.”

Abound in gifts of Grace:

Should be established in Grace:
Hebrews 13:9 “Do not be carried about with different and strange doctrines, for it is good for the heart to be established with grace, not with foods, in which those who have walked in them were not helped.”
Should be strong in Grace:
Second Timothy 2:1 “Therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”
Should grow in Grace:
Second Peter 3:18 “But grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”
Should speak with Grace:
Ephesians 4:29 “Let not any filthy word go out of your mouth, but if any is good to building up in respect of need, that it may give grace to the ones hearing.”
Colossians 4:6 “Let your speech be always with grace, having been seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”
GRACE IS SPECIALLY GIVEN:
To ministers:
Romans 12:3 “For I say, through the grace given to me, to every one who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think. But set your mind to be right-minded, even as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
Romans 12:6 “Then having gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, if prophecy, according to the proportion of faith.”
Romans 15:15 “But, brothers, I wrote to you boldly, as reminding you in part, because of the grace that is given to me by God.”
First Corinthians 3:10 “According to the grace of God which is given to me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let every man be careful how he builds on it.”
Galatians 2:9 “and knowing the grace given to me, James, and Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, gave right hands of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we go to the nations, but they to the circumcision.”
Ephesians 3:7 “Of this gospel I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effectual working of His power.”
To the humble:
Proverbs 3:34 “Surely He scorns the scorners; but He gives grace to the lowly.”
James 4:6 “But He gives more grace. Therefore He says, God resists the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.”
To those who walk uprightly:

Not to be received in vain:

PRAY FOR GRACE:
For yourselves:

For others:
Second Corinthians 13:14 “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.”
Ephesians 6:24 “Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.”
Beware lest you fail of Grace:
Hebrews 12:15 “looking diligently lest any fail of the grace of God, or lest any root of bitterness springing up disturb you, and by it many are defiled.”
Manifestation of Grace, in others, a cause of gladness:
Acts 11:23 “who was glad when he had come and had seen the grace of God. And he exhorted all with purpose of heart to remain near to the Lord.”
First John 1:3 “that which we have seen and heard we declare unto you, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.”
First John 1:4 “And we write these things to you so that your joy may be full.
Special manifestation of Grace, at the second coming of Christ:
First Peter 1:13 “Therefore girding up the loins of your mind, being sober, perfectly hope for the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
Not to be abused:
Romans 3:8 “And not rather, (as we are wrongly accused, and as some affirm that we say), Let us do bad things that good may come? Their condemnation is just.”
Romans 6:1 “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound?”
Romans 6:15 “What then? Shall we sin because we are not under Law, but under grace? Let it not be!”
Antinomians abused:
Jude 1:4 “For certain men crept in secretly, those having been of old previously written into this condemnation, ungodly ones perverting the grace of our God for unbridled lust, and denying the only Master, God, even our Lord Jesus Christ.”
