Out of The Wilderness
I see you flying out of a deep, dark wilderness. You are coming out of that huge fire pit.
You are going to soar out of that dry, barren desert. Your eyes fixed on the mountain top just ahead. God is calling you out of your captivity.
The LORD is saying, “You are My Warrior Eagles whom I AM using as the spearhead of My Javelin to pierce the hearts of those weak and lost.
Those torn and shattered from the lies of the enemy, I AM giving you the keys to the shackles that have imprisoned My Chosen, My Vessels of Virtue, for Now I AM cutting the three stranded cords that bind and hinder stealing the wind of hope from the hearts of My Beloved Ones.
I say right now to My Overcomers to Unite! For I AM calling you to your purpose! My Church! My Body! MY BRIDE!
Trim your wicks with the fresh oil I AM pouring out in this hour NOW GO!
For the fields are ripe and the harvest is great, for I AM still in the Garden and My Heart is Hard Pressed. (New wine.)
I AM calling out to My Beloved, for I AM your Maker and no other.
Do not believe the callous lies of darkness for you have been made to rise above it.”
Grace Is Scandalous
Grace is scandalous — it is like a wild animal that simply cannot be tamed.
Except the animal is full of love, mercy, and forgiveness, not huge claws, sharp teeth, and a serpent tongue.
Religion keeps Grace held in a cage. Religion puts conditions on Grace. It can only be seen during business hours in many circumstances.
I am just going be real! When I first saw this picture a Facebook friend had shared, The LORD took me back to some young adults I had met who had found themselves in such turmoil.
Some did not have a great childhood, some in drug activity and felt like they could not get free.
One young boy who was told that he was a poor excuse for a human being. Yes the person that told them this hurtful statement was a Church member singing in the pulpit every Sunday!
Yes, he had a past and issues, he did things he was not proud of, but where in that moment was the Love and Grace of God?
I am sharing this testimony not to glorify me, but only God.
One young man I met had just gotten out of jail. He went the wrong path and wanted to make it right. I spoke with him for a little bit and went to leave.
The LORD then spoke to me and said, “Go back!”
I went back to where he was and asked if I could pray for him and he was like, “Sure!” After I prayed over his life, he hugged me and said, “No one has ever done anything like that for me!”
Religion won’t touch them or reach out to them — it seems dangerous, and they rather just deem it hopeless. They would rather wash their hands of them.
Religion grades righteousness on a curve. Jesus grades righteousness on a Cross!
He came for these young men and women the same as he came for all.
My mind turns yet to another young man, so dear to me. He walked a road of hell, but God was that fourth man in the fire.
He still endures the gossiping tongue of people, some of whom were supposed to be family.
Why tear them down when we are called to build them up — to pray for them and reach out to them?
Not to pass them by on the road and act as if you do not see them, but run to help them and let them know you are there; to let them know that God loves them.
It is not hopeless!
I have walked through hell, been hurt by religious leaders, felt much less that others, but I found Jesus.
The fiery eyes of my King locked on me. He let me know I did not have to seek any acceptance from man, I was fully accepted and loved by him.
He pulled me from that fiery pit, he restored and those dry bones began coming to life.
When I felt like he forgot me, he showed me that he was in the midst of that fire the entire time.
In Matthew 16:18, Jesus tells Peter the gates of hell will not prevail against the church. Now, I am just thinking out loud here. But it seems for gates not to prevail, something (or someone) must be in a position to knock them over.
This is where God’s people come into the picture. Christians are to go into the darkness and push down the gates of hell wherever they are.
This is why the Great Commission tells us to “Go….” There is a direct relationship between the Church’s mission of going out and hell’s gates coming down.
It is more than just Jesus name written on a building, it is more than showing up to sit in that pew every Sunday and Wednesday, it is so much more! Jesus came to seek and save the lost!
I want to conclude this post with this one quote that is my absolute favorite and rings truth with me!
‘Some wish to live within the sound of Church and Chapel Bell.
I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell!’

“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18.
The Great Commission
“Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of The Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I AM with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Matthew 28:16-20.

At the gate of hell is the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus….that’s why the gates of hell cannot prevail against the Church
