Ignorance of God’s Righteousness
“1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. 5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, that the man which doeth those things shall live by them,” Romans 10:1-5.
The great Apostle Paul said he had a huge heart desire [in other words: Paul wept much and was greatly concerned for the Jews who were his own family].
Paul was moved to tears, for his brethren [the Jews], of whom he was/ or had been.. one.
Saul [as his name was at the first] was one of them who was ignorant of the fact that righteousness did not come about by one’s self establishment. Saul was one who believed, with his brethren, that one must keep The Law of Moses, and in doing so he would be righteous.
Saul, met Jesus on the road to kill Christians, whom he thought [at that time were enemies of the nation of Israel and the law given by Moses].
When Jesus ask him, “Saul, Saul, is it not hard to kick against the pricks (a cactus)?”
Saul said: “Lord who are you?”
Saul did not even know who Jesus was, or understand The LORD himself.. [God]. Saul was religious only!
But God…. God told Saul all about what it means for one to be righteous. Saul became Apostle Paul, the preacher of righteousness by The Blood of Jesus Christ.
Paul was the one whom God used to write clearly that when righteousness comes, it is not your own righteousness which one who is saved has, but it is the righteousness of God given by Grace.
One becomes known as righteous, even when he is not, because that standing was in Jesus Christ, who is righteous.
“3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
4 Now to him that workethm, is the reward not reckoned of Grace, but of debt?
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,” Romans 4:3-6 emphasis added.
To say that the Jews were religious and very strict, and, very sincere, and most dedicated to the cause of God, would be an understatement.
They were very, very religious and given to “Good” (?) works. Yet, we know by the writing of the Apostle Paul [under the inspiration of The Holy Spirit] that they were ignorant and going about to establish their own righteousness.
Paul said of them: “They are very zealous! But they do not have knowledge of the truth,” Romans 10:2.
This is a most serious charge given to them. For sure, the Jews thought of themselves as God’s own people, so surely they were correct in every way.
Many today are ignorant of the fact that one cannot please God by keeping The Law.
The fact is The Law was not even given to Israel to save Israel, but was given to bring them to The Messiah, or Christ, who would take away all their sins.
This message of “The Messiah taking away their sins” was to be seen and understood in the sacrifices of animals for the covering and forgiveness of sin.
Today we have many zealous, ignorant people, who are going about daily to try to prove that they are God’s people, just because they keep commandments, laws of God.
These people are very sincere and dedicated, but,
… they are ignorant of the fact that Jesus died to make men acceptable and to become righteous…. through His Work.
These same people will be the same ones whom of Jesus said concerning them in The Day of Judgment:
“21 Not every one that saith unto Me, LORD, LORD, shall enter into The Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth The Will of My Father which is in Heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in Thy Name? And in Thy Name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, “I never knew you. Depart from Me, ye that work iniquity!”” Matthew 7:21-23.
They will be the religious ones whom Jesus will reject, because He knows these men, though sincere and dedicated… very zealous, are not His. They are not sheep.

I have taught this teaching in obedience to The Holy Spirit teacher of The Word of God.
Please note this verse and consider it carefully:
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth,” Romans 10:4.
Talk about being shocked! When Jesus says to them, “I never knew you! You can’t come in now….”

Amazing. Beautiful. Thank you. God bless.
There is a genetic law which is natural and which we cannot keep by our own will and there is a spiritual law which we can keep by the Grace (help) of God.
The genetic law (of Moses)is natural and an evidence of its own existence and exist through blood because the rod of God (with the DNA serpent inside of it) which Moses had is in his hand is the chromosome, that is why it is written we are healed by his stripes, becausee a chromosome has stripes and ‘carries the blood’.
“when the Gentiles, which have not the (spiritual)law, do by nature the things contained in the (genetic)law, these, having not the (spiritual) law, are (by their existence) a (genetic)law unto themselves Rom.2:14
The spiritual law on the other hand is about the decisions made in our mind and is something we must work on.
“For what the (genetic)law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh (which is under the genetic law), God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh. That the righteousness of the (spiritual)law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit Rom 8:3-4
God speaks about two ‘invisible’ laws, the genetic and the spiritual. The genetic is written (in parables)in OT and the Spiritual Laws is what Jesus teaches about, that we must hear and obey the Father in the same way that the genetic laws ‘automatically’ does.
Genesis means genes and ‘generations’ means genes that generates genes which is what OT is about.
