God’s Patterns of Holiness & Righteousness
Go back to God’s pattern of holiness and righteousness. There is too much flesh on display, causing stumbling blocks.
We have taken away the standards of conduct that God set in place to keep us in a holy place. We are too busy building monuments to ourselves, until we have forgotten to prepare a habitation for the visitation of God’s presence.
We handle the holy things of God with disrespect and allow unclean contaminated vessels to handle the oversight of God’s house. We don’t reverence the ground even as holy.
I remember when we were careful about what we said and did in the house of God. We were even afraid to present our bodies before the altar without proper attire. We wouldn’t dare dress in attire that glorified our nakedness.
We came broken and repentant, humbled before The LORD. We don’t teach reverence fear for the presence of The LORD.
We will cuss somebody off on the altar, backbite, gossip, lie, steal, sow discord, right on the altar. We wouldn’t dare get up in the choir, lead a song, play an instrument, usher, or do anything when we knew we had done things against the Word and will of God.
Leaders made us accountability. They wouldn’t let us serve if we had oughts issues and a bad attitude and unrighteous character. We weren’t allowed to serve, or even take communion, if God showed our leader that our heart wasn’t right.
Yes, we changed the pattern of holiness to accommodate flesh and carnality, but NOW in this hour, God is saying you will be consecrated sanctified holy and righteous humble and obedient before you handle the sacred things of God in this hour!
In this season, The LORD is saying ZERO TOLERANCE for foolishness and playing church. It’s time to bring the people back to the pattern He has set and established for righteousness and holiness throughout the earth.
~ Apostle Barbara R. Thomas
I compelety agree with you, and I always feel there are things not supposed to be done in Church or at God’s podiums. However, when I comment or advise, people say they have to do what people like/ want otherwise nobody will come or stay. In short many churches and their programs are aimed at entertainment and big turn ups of people instead of God’s Word or leading of the Holy Spirit.
