“God’s man!” How this term has robbed us from the truth!

It has never been about men of God. It has always been about the God of the man He has sent.

Yet over the years we heard it …

“God’s man of faith and power!” …

… and slowly we began to believe that it was the men that counted and who it was about.

We began idolizing them, wanting to be “like them”, because they were so cool and seemed to have it all together, the name, the fame, the money, the success and the “power” – they were the “Anointed” – the outstanding ones!

Yet most of them all eventually fell flat on their faces at the end!

Why?

Because God did not send us to share His Glory, but to bring Him glory!
