God’s Heart And Admonition
This is YHVH’s Heart and *Admonition In Relation to what is up ahead for us in the days to come.
He Warns us because He Loves us and desires His People to be one with Him for eternity.
*Adominition is from:
“admonish (v.)mid-14c., amonesten “remind, urge, exhort, warn, give warning,” from Old French amonester “urge, encourage, warn” (12c.), from Vulgar Latin *admonestare, from Latin admonere “bring to mind, remind (of a debt);” also “warn, advise, urge,” from ad “to,” here probably with frequentative force (see ad-) + monere “to admonish, warn, advise,” from PIE *moneie- “to make think of, remind,” suffixed (causative) form of root *men- (1) “to think.”

”A voice is calling ‘Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness;’ ” Isaiah 40:3 NASB
I am assuming most of us, including myself, have understood this passage to have one particular meaning.
The word, we base this understanding on, is “PREPARE” (KJV) or “CLEAR” (NASB), “PREPARE” being the dominant definition in many translations.
The LXX and the N.T. use the Greek G2090 Hetoimazo, that means to prepare or make ready. The root word of Hetoimazo is, according to HELPS Word-studies.
2092 hétoimos (from heteos, “fitting”) – ready because prepared; “standing by,” ready to meet the opportunity (challenge) at hand; ready because the necessary preparations are done (or are sure to happen as needed). Emphasis mine.
Now, the definition of the root word Hetoimos begins to open up the meaning of the passage in another Light, like the Sun Shining on a Prism.
I will clarify this with the actual Hebrew word and definition that is hidden in the word Prepare, used by English speaking translators.
Prepare/ Clear = H6437 PANAH > Turn, turn toward, i.e. To Face. Emphasis mine.
Panah is a root word. Another Hebrew word that is a spinoff of Panah is the Hebrew H6440 PANIYM. This word is often used to indicate one’s face, or The Face of God.
(He who has ears to hear and eyes to see). The Lord is ALSO giving Us, His People, another insight that is necessary in The Preparation of YHVH’s Way for The Others.
Before We can successfully and effectively prepare His Way, God’s People MUST FACE HIS WAY!
Only then will The Way become clear and ready for preparation for the others.
Hear The Word of The Lord. Are we familiar with His Face and His Way?
Can we, and do we, accept His Way, The Way of The Cross?
There is NO other way. I beg you all, that we embrace His Way! Yes, The Cross speaks of death to self and it may mean actual martyrdom. BUT, the Resurrection and Ascension followed The Crucifixion.
“If we suffer with Him we will also be glorified with Him,” Romans 8:17.
This is True Discipleship!
“Whoever does not persevere and carry his own cross and come after (follow) Me cannot be My disciple,” Luke 14:27 AMPC.
How can God’s People truly disciple all the Earth if we are not following The Prescribed Plan?
“Because you have guarded and kept My word of patient endurance [have held fast the lesson of My patience with the expectant endurance that I give you], I also will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial (testing) which is coming on the whole world to try those who dwell upon the earth,” Revelation 3:10 AMPC
“There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death,” Proverbs 14:12 AMPC.
When We stick to His Roadmap, His Heart, His LOGOS, (John 1:1,18) then wandering, straying, and veering off His Way is not possible.
When we have the proper vision of His Way, then there is no confusion, (Proverbs 29:18). He Provides His Discernment, Knowledge and Wisdom to stay the course.
If eternal life with Jesus is our ultimate goal, then what is there to fear or run from?
His Perfect Love destroys fear, and nothing can separate us from His Love. When we make the decision to walk His Way, He is right there to make sure we complete the journey.
The devil continues to twist The Word. He lies to men’s hearts saying that God is all about blessing or He is all about cursing. He Is Both! The LORD, many times in Deuteronomy, makes clear, the cause and effect process for following or not following, His Word.
The preposition “IF” is a key word. IF we Obey, we have unbroken fellowship with Him, and receive all His added benefits.
If we habitually disobey Him and His Way, then we become fair game for the devil and his minions.
“There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death,” Proverbs 14:12 AMPC.
Even if, desiring to follow and obey Him, we stumble and fall In The Way, His Grace is more than enough to pick Us up, dust us off, and send us on His Way and to Its Intended result for us!
Praise God!
“But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!” 2 Corinthians 12:9 AMPC.
