Godly Wisdom is the Principle Thing!
As I was pondering the many problems that we are facing in America and across the world, I was asking The LORD for wisdom to know how to Pray, when I realized I must have His Wisdom — but we all need Discernment and Understanding to even comprehend the direction The LORD gives us.
The LORD then said to me, “I AM raising up Godly Believers to step into their assigned position as leaders in Ministry and business as well.
It is time to cover all the spheres of influence with humble Leaders across The Seven Mountains who have the skills of problem solving, with Wisdom and comprehensive Understanding, that only comes from soaking in My Word,” says the God of Wisdom.
“The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skillful and godly Wisdom)! [For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation).” Proverbs 4:7 AMP
“I have given you access to Godly Wisdom, just as Paul stated in The Book of Ephesians, that the Body of Christ would operate in the manifold Wisdom of God, which is far above human wisdom which is based on trying to figure it all out through tests and trials.
But I have called My Believers out as Overcomers who will face their battles and challenges with Divine Wisdom coupled with Understanding.
They will carry a heavenly perspective to be problem solvers. Know that all the pieces of the puzzle to the massive deception are coming together, as I reveal not only the big picture — but I will bring knowledge and understanding of the motives and design of darkness that has been at work for years behind the scenes.”
“And all who heard him were amazed at His understanding and His answers,” Luke 2:47 NIV
I love how that scripture reads in TPT…
“All who heard Jesus speak were awestruck at his intelligent understanding of all that was being discussed and at his wise answers to their questions.” Luke 2:47 TPT
“to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,” Ephesians 3:10 NKJV
“The purpose of this was to unveil before every throne and rank of angelic orders in the heavenly realm God’s full and diverse wisdom revealed through the Church.” Ephesians 3:10 TPT
“So, I adjure you to take full advantage of the Divine Wisdom and Understanding that I have given you access to in My Word.
Allow your spirit to receive the Understanding so needed today, to take advantage of the access of wisdom and understanding needed to give creative answers and bring forth the ability to comprehend the problems that are facing the world today.”
There are many areas of Wisdom and Understanding. Let’s take a look at some of them:
‘Sophia’ : is wisdom of ultimate things. It means to set goals. In order to carry out wisdom for the future, it is important to set goals. As you set goals, it is important to realize that you will be exercising faith to reach the goals.
The word tells us the just shall live by faith. It is important to have God’s wisdom in setting goals. Without His wisdom, you might be aiming at something and hoping to achieve something that was never in His plan for you.
‘Phronesis’ : is a practical wisdom. The wise man built his house upon a rock using Phronesis. In Matthew 10:16 Jesus said that we are to be ‘wise as serpents’. This is Phronesis. How is a serpent wise in a practical way? He is very subtle. He uses discretion. Phronesis is the wisdom that is sometimes spoken of or translated as ‘prudent’or understanding. There is much to be said about our need for understanding.
‘Sunesis’ : is the ability to put “two and two together”. Sometimes you have wisdom for one situation and wisdom for another but you don’t know how to bring the two together to reach your desired goal you have set. You need God’s wisdom not only to set goals but to reach the goals.
In Luke 2:47, the priests were amazed at Jesus wisdom, at how he could put ‘two and two together’.
Sunesis can best be understood as seeing how situations relate to the present, how to handle those situations, and how present situations will affect the future. Where we are today is the direct result of what we did yesterday.
So allowing The LORD to teach us how to deal with the present and understanding that our future
is determined by the choices we make today helps us to make wise choices.
For example, a housewife buys a coat today while realizing that next week there will be no money for groceries and she will have an angry husband.
With ‘sunesus’, she would not buy the coat. God says He will give us understanding or ‘sunesis’ in all things. (2 Timothy 2:7)
1 Corinthians 1:19 says “For it is written, ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.”
This is an example of people relying on their ‘natural wisdom’. God said He will destroy it.
When we teach our children through rewards and punishments, we are teaching them ‘sunesis’. They learn to make decisions based on projected consequences. The Book of Proverbs is full of ‘sunesis’.
A long time ago, I did a Bible Study written by Marilyn Hickey on the Wisdom of Proverbs and as I was seeking The LORD about praying for Godly leaders with wisdom, He brought this teaching back to me.
This is only a very small portion. There is much more relating to the words I just spelled out were written in Greek and Proverbs was written in Hebrew.
In the book of Proverbs, The LORD was talking about all three of these described here. That Bible Study was so full of rich understanding and in depth knowledge.
So, The LORD said, “In this time of history, there are many temptations and the world is displaying total foolishness and very little wisdom.
So I say to you today, many temptations come through the eye gate. Your eye must be single in purpose. Keep your focus.
When your eye is single, your whole body is full of Light. Listen to My Wisdom; guard your heart and do not be overcome by what you see; but keep your eyes on what I AM saying and the instructions in My Word. Look straight ahead!” says The LORD God.
“Help me turn my eyes away from illusions so that I pursue only that which is true; drench my soul with life as I walk in your paths.” Psalm 119:37 TPT
“Turn my eyes away from vanity [all those worldly, meaningless things that distract — let Your priorities be mine], and restore me [with renewed energy] in Your ways. Establish Your word and confirm Your promise to Your servant, as that which produces [awe-inspired] reverence for You. Turn away my reproach which I dread, or Your ordinances are good.” Psalm 119:37-39 AMP
“Beloved, watch your step! Allow Me to direct your path, for I AM leading you onto the perfect path for this time of your life.
Keep your eyes focused on the next step, as I direct you and know that My Timing is perfect.
Let the Light of My Word bring you perfect peace with each step, as I call you forward for I AM protecting you from the snare of the enemy, as you stay on the destined path I have laid out for you,” says The LORD.
“The light that is in you will dispel the darkness around you, so Beloved, going forward, do not be anxious for anything for I AM you Light in the darkness, and I AM your Provider of all things.
Listen to My slightest Whisper, for I AM with you and will hold and I will never forsake you.
Fear Not! Let The Fear of The LORD — which is the beginning of Wisdom — be deeply written on your heart!”
God is assigning believers to positions of leadership in business, ministry, education and all spheres of influence, and it’s time for believers to manifest the wisdom of God.
We should be the problem solvers.
We were not created to run from problems, but we run to them, because we have access to the answer to every problem in the world.
How? Through The Wisdom of God.
