God Wants to Deliver Many — From Their Stinking Thinking
As I was meditating upon The LORD, The LORD spoke these portions of scriptures to me,
“On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: and he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, and saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
But Peter said, Not so, LORD; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.” Acts 10:9-16 KJV.
The LORD spoke this scripture to me, because I believe that God is going to break open the stinking thinking in many of our lives to pull back the veil of looking at things from a carnal perspective when it comes to Kingdom. Just as He had to do Peter.
Peter was struck by a visitation and an encounter of The LORD that was not only going to deliver him, but many that had the same mindset that he himself had.
You see, sin blinds us and keeps the scales over our eyes so that we can not see things from the heart, and the mind of God.
This is why God caused Peter to have an encounter with Him during a specific time of day and when he was fasting and praying, because He knew that Peter was conditioned enough to receive the encounter at this appointed time in his walk with God.
Many times we wonder why it is our eyes have not seen and our ears has not heard the things that God has prepared for us?
Well could it be that God knows that what He would show you or reveal to you it would kill you because His Glory is so strong for your flesh to understand it!
“Moses came down from Mount Sinai. As he came down from the mountain with the two tablets of the covenant in his hand, Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because he had been talking with God. When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, the skin of his face was shining, and they were {afraid} to come near him. But Moses called to them; and Aaron and all the leaders of the congregation returned to him, and Moses spoke with them.
Afterward all the Israelites came near, and he gave them in commandment all that The LORD had spoken with him on Mount Sinai. When Moses had finished speaking with them, {he put a veil on his face}; but whenever Moses went in before The LORD to speak with him, he would take the veil off, until he came out; and when he came out, and told the Israelites what he had been commanded, the Israelites would see the face of Moses, that the skin of his face was shining; and Moses would put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with him.” Exodus 34:29-34.
The LORD in this season is taking His People from Glory to Glory and many will fear to come near to the glory because they will fear that the God in you shall reveal their true flesh that is still present in them in this season!
God, my friend, is removing the veil and He is removing old mindsets and the way your carnal mind thinks so that those around you will also be transformed like Peter was!
The old judgmental attitudes and dispositions you had in the past shall be no more! The judging of others because they have a relationship with people who come from {all walks of life} in society that you feel one should not keep company with.
People who come from economically low incomes and denominations you feel are not worthy to know God.
You see those people who was from the circumcision contended with Peter, Saying, “Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them. …” but Peter went over again what he saw in his vision with them that what God hath cleansed who are we to call unclean! (Acts 11:3)
“And, As Peter began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them the same as He had fell on them in the beginning. And he remembered the word of The LORD, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on The LORD Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?” Acts 11:15-17.
God is a sovereign God and it His right and decision who He calls and who we are to minister to and with in ministry and just because you see a saint with a sinner does not mean that saint has backslidden but perhaps they on a mission for souls!
Ask God to deliver you from stinking thinking!
