God wants to bring Restoration!
This morning and last night in prayer, I heard God speak the number NINE, BONDAGE, and HUMILITY!
The number NINE is related to finality, harvest, ministry, fullness, fruitfulness, the nine gifts of the spirit, and birthing!
While the ministers where ministering to this young man at a local service last night, i heard the lord say the number nine and death! I went home last night and I heard God say to me that the spirit of death is in the land, both naturally and spiritually!
I heard God saying that He has been long suffering with many of you, and has given you ample opportunity to set your houses in order, but yet you still refuse to allow God to be first in your life; even though God wants to birth something new in your life!
As the elder said last night, many folk have become complacent in the church and they have a form of godliness and are denying the power of God to be able to work in their lives! God showed me that the power of God was there to heal, and to set many free, but many of the saints sat there as if they did not understand what God was trying to do, or as though they were strangers in a far land!
You see, God showed me that He wants to send a harvest of souls in to our local churches, but before that can happen, there will need to be a cleansing, first!
It is so sad that God will have to prune some dead trees in order for some of your ministries can, or will, come into full development, saith The Lord! Why? Because many of the trees in the church still are not developing fruit and they are only taking up space and pews in the church and they have no intention of bearing fruit!
These trees have become nothing more than a distraction and a hindrance in the Kingdom of God!
I heard God say that even some of our children have become infected by some of these trees! Why? Because instead of you teaching your children the plumb-line of holiness and righteousness, you have taught them lies, deceit and deception, saith The Lord!
I heard God say that the nine ‘Gifts of the Spirit’ should be in operation in a church that is operating in full-development, but this will not happen until some of my trees began to put away the evil that is among you!
Just as God had the Prophet Samuel speak to the children of Israel telling them to put away their strange gods; so is God saying the same thing to the church! Listen, I heard God say that many of you know how to run to the true prophets (woman of God) when trouble come, but this time it will do you no good, unless you put away the evil that is among you! Why? Because in order for the children of Israel to be delivered from the Philistines (their enemies), they first had to follow the instructions of the prophet (the woman of God) and then, and only then, would God hear them and deliver them from the hands of the enemy!
God told me to tell you deliverance is not going to come for some until you obey and hearken to both the prophet (woman of God) and to God in this season! Why? Because many of you have learned that if you can just get the woman or the man of God to pray for you, then maybe God will change his mind and not allow the evil which He has spoken to happen to you!
Oh, but I hear God saying, “Not this time!” In-fact; destruction is upon many and He is going to allow the enemy to have his way with you!
However; God will send deliverance upon others for their obedience just as He did the children of Israel, and because of your obedience, you will see healing, you will reap a harvest, you will see the manifestation of the nine gifts in the church, you will be blessed financially, the gift of faith will work and miracles will come etc..
But for all those who continue to walk in pride, and are disobedience, look for the sword of the Lord in this season, saith The Lord, for the mouth of The Lord has spoken it!
“3 Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you return to the Lord with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths from among you, and prepare your hearts for the Lord, and serve Him only; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.” 4 So the children of Israel put away the Baals and the Ashtoreths, and served the Lord only.
5 And Samuel said, “Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray to the Lord for you.” 6 So they gathered together at Mizpah, drew water, and poured it out before the Lord. And they fasted that day, and said there, “We have sinned against the Lord.” And Samuel judged the children of Israel at Mizpah.
7 Now when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel had gathered together at Mizpah, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard of it, they were afraid of the Philistines. 8 So the children of Israel said to Samuel, “Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.”
9 And Samuel took a suckling lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. Then Samuel cried out to the Lord for Israel, and the Lord answered him. 10 Now as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel. But the Lord thundered with a loud thunder upon the Philistines that day, and so confused them that they were overcome before Israel. 11 And the men of Israel went out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, and drove them back as far as below Beth Car” 1 Samuel 7:3-11
“Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; 3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. 4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” 5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.”
Preaching in Solomon’s Portico
“11 Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon’s, greatly amazed” Acts 3:1-11.
Part 2
God wants to bring restoration!
This is one of the greatest chapters (1 Samuel 7:3-11) in the bible! Why? God’s people needed a revival. The ark of the covenant had returned to Israel, but Israel had not returned to God! It was time for Samuel to call them to repentance.
I hear God saying that it is time to put away their foreign gods, meet at Mizpah to renew their allegiance to God.
Israel had prayed for 20 years for the Ark to be brought home:
- The Philistines had captured it during an earlier battle – 1 Samuel 4:22.
- The Glory had departed from Israel – because of the sin of Eli’s sons.
- Eli refused to discipline his sons, and the whole nation was defeated.
- As go the homes, so goes the nation. The importance of a Godly Home!
I HEAR THE LORD SAYING, HE CANNOT AND WILL NOT ANSWER PRAYERS WHEN THERE IS SIN IN THE CAMP
“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” (Isaiah 59:1-2) cf. Psalms 66:18.
Our prayers will be hindered until we are ready to repent:
HALF-HEARTED (INSINCERE) REPENTANCE NEVER WORKS!
Samuel wanted to make sure the Israelites turned to God with all their hearts.
“If you return to the Lord with all your hearts” v.3
They were not only to turn to God but turn away from evil too.
They needed a complete change of life and behavior.
I HEAR GOD SAYING THAT REAL REPENTANCE HAPPENS WHEN WE DEAL WITH OUR DIVIDED HEARTS.
- We cannot serve God and mammon – Matthew 6:24.
- We cannot serve two masters – we must decide whom we will serve.
- Then we must keep to that decision – without compromise.
- God is looking for sincere repentance not a shallow outward show.
“For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death” 2 Corinthians 7:10.
