God Speaks if We Are Patient and Will Listen

God Speaks if We Are Patient and Will Listen
We have had teaching on prayer since I can remember. I have taught on it many times but the real teaching that I received was when I set myself to stay as long as it took to encounter Him and asked Him right up front to “Teach me how to pray.”
You will find when you do this, He will do much more of the talking than you do.
He is looking for someone who truly wants to hear what is on His heart. The key to “knowing Him” is being a good listener.
It is waiting on the LORD and settling in your mind that you will hear what He has to say. He has a voice and plans for you and is asking you to get quiet enough to hear them…..
Again, this takes faith and the force of patients.
“For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out],” Hebrews 11:6.
“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises,” Hebrews 6:12.
Subject to Time
While we are here in this body on this earth we are subject to time, because of God’s purposes.
When we are impatient we are simply trying to hurry God’s agenda for us and it is truly walking out of heaven’s timing.
That is why walking in the Spirit is imperative to staying in His presence, which is the realm of eternity where there is no time…
This in-turn produces God’s fruit and not our own…..
‘But the fruit of the Spirit is Patience…” Galatians 5:22.
