God says: Vengeance belongs to Him, He will Repay!
I hear God saying, vengeance belongs to Him, and He will repay!
This morning I saw an angel smite this man for doing this person wrong! There were two families there, also feuding in the Church, and God was righting a wrong that had been caused by a tale bearer! This information had caused division in church between both the leader of the church and these two families, and the person who caused the problem (division/strife) had never been punished!
I hear God saying, your don’t have to move one muscle in this battle!
“Now David had said, ‘Surely in vain I have protected all that this fellow has in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that belongs to him. And he has repaid me evil for good.'” Just as many of us have done! We treat people with much love and compassion all to have them step on our heart and to walk on us like a doormat, BUT I hear God saying NO MORE! Just like DAVID who said, “May God do so, and more also, to the enemies of David, (except we need not fight in this Battle) if I leave one male of all who belong to him by morning light” (1 Samuel 25:21-22). David want to kill an entire family, But God!
I hear God saying, all you need do is to keep interceding in prayer and to continue showing love in this season!
Just as Abigail saw David, she hasted, and lighted off the ass, and fell before David on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and she said my lord, on me let this iniquity be! (You see, many times it is not you yourself who has done the wrong, but if you have love in your heart, you should still have compassion). Please let your maidservant speak now in your ears, and hear the words of your maidservant. Please, let not my lord regard this scoundrel Nabal. For as his name is, so is he: Nabal ishis name, and folly is with him. You see some folks are plain foolish and they don’t realize they are hurting themselves more than they are hurting you by spreading gossip and other hurtful information to others that will cause chaos both in and out of the Church!
God is going to deal with ALL your enemies in this season! It might look as though they are getting away with what they are doing to you but God has a time and a season to repay your enemies!
Abigail was a beautiful woman who was full of wisdom and understanding! She did not mean to hurt David and she proved it by humbling her heart and falling on her knees to apologize to David! She even brought a gift leaving it at the altar! But I, (Abigail) your maidservant, did not see the foolishness of Nabal!
I hear God saying, when a person is sorry, you don’t have to keep telling them they hurt you.
They will find you and tell you that they are sorry! God said, the reason they don’t apologize to you is because they are like foolish Nabal, and they don’t see any wrong they have done! (unrepentant heart). The pride in their heart is bigger than the pain they have caused both you and others! (See 1 Samuel 25).
Abigail said to the young men of my lord (David ) whom you sent, now therefore, my lord, as the LORD lives and as your soul lives, since the LORD has held you back from coming to bloodshed and from avenging yourself with your own hand, now then, let your enemies and those who seek harm for my lord be as Nabal. And now this present which your maidservant has brought to my lord, let it be given to the young men who follow my lord.
I hear God saying, blessed is the peace maker; not the peace breaker!
Abigail wanted to make peace! She said, Please (born again) forgive the trespass of your maidservant. For the LORD will certainly make for my l my lord a sure house; because my lord fighteth the battles of the Lord, and evil hath not been found in thee all thy days (See 1 Samuel 25).
And Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king; and Nabal’s heart was merry within him, for he was very drunken: wherefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light. But it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his wife had told him these things, that his heart died within him, and he became as a stone. And it came to pass about ten days after, that the Lord smote Nabal, that he died (1 Samuel 25:36-38).
