When we set our eyes on the things that are above, we see how God put His Name on Israel and put it on and in us.

God put His name on Israel through His priests.

The LORD had the priests of Israel bless them with this blessing.

“Then the LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons: This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: ‘May the LORD bless you and keep you; may the LORD cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the LORD lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace.’
So they shall put My name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.” Numbers 6:22-27 ISV (Priests: Melchizedek Genesis 14:18-20; Aaron’s sons Leviticus 2:2; 9:23-24)

In the New Covenant, God puts His Name on us and in us through Messiah Jesus and The Holy Spirit.

Doing the Father’s Will, Jesus humbled himself as a man and came to this earth in his flesh. Isaiah prophesied His Name.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV (Matthew 4:12-17; Mark 1:14-15; Luke 4:14-15)

Messiah Jesus came as our High Priest, announcing God’s name.

“Now when God put everything under him, he left nothing outside his control. However, at the present time we do not yet see everything put under him. But we do see someone who was made a little lower than the angels. He is Jesus, who is crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might experience death for everyone.
It was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through suffering as part of his plan to glorify many children, because both the one who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified all have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers when he says, “I will announce your name to my brothers. I will praise you within the congregation.” (Psalm 22:22; Hebrews 12:23) And again, “I will trust him.” And again, “I am here with the children God has given me.
“Therefore, since the children have flesh and blood, he himself also shared the same things, so that by his death he might destroy the one who has the power of death (that is, the devil) and might free those who were slaves all their lives because they were terrified by death. For it is clear that he did not come to help angels. No, he came to help Abraham’s descendants, thereby becoming like his brothers in every way, so that he could be a merciful and faithful high priest in service (2 Corinthians 5:21) to God and could atone for the people’s sins. (Luke 18:13; Romans 3:25; Philippians 2:7; Hebrews 4:15; 5:1-2; 7:26-28; 1 John 2:2; 4:10) Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.” Hebrews 2:8-18 ISV.

“Having then a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Yeshua, the Son of God, let’s hold tightly to our confession.
For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16 WMB.

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession,” 1 Peter 2:9.

“Putting away therefore all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speaking, as newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Come to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious. You also as living stones are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Yeshua the Messiah. Because it is contained in Scripture, “Behold,* I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious. He who believes in him will not be disappointed.”
For you who believe therefore is the honor, but for those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,” and, “a stumbling stone and a rock of offense.”
For they stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed. But you are a chosen race, (Deuteronomy 7:6; 10:15; Isaiah 43:20; Deuteronomy 7:6; 10:15; Is 43:20) a royal priesthood,(Isaiah 61:6; Revelation 1:6; 5:10; 20:6) a holy nation, (Exodus 19:6; 23:22) a people for God’s own possession, (Exodus 19:5; 23:22; Deuteronomy 4:20; 7:6; Isaiah 43:21) that you may proclaim the excellence (Isaiah 42:12; 43:21) of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. (Isaiah 9:2; Acts 26:18; Ephesians 5:8; Colossians 1:12-13) In the past, you were not a people, but now are God’s people, who had not obtained mercy, (Matthew 5:7; Mark 5:19; Luke 1:50) but now have obtained mercy.” 1 Peter 2:1-10 WMB.

“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” Matthew 18:19-20 NAS

We have peace with God through God given faith, through of Lord Jesus our Messiah, sealed with God’s love through the Holy Spirit.

“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, (Romans 3:28) we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:11) Through him (Ephesians 2:18; 3:12; 10:19-20; 1 Peter 3:18) we have also obtained access by faith, into this grace in which we stand, (1 Corinthians 15:1) and we rejoiced in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, (1 Corinthians 15:1) but we rejoice in our sufferings, (Matthew 5:12; James 1:2-3) knowing that suffering produces endurance, (Luke 21:19) and endurance produces character, (Philippians 2:22; James 1:12) and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, (Psalm 119:116; Romans 9:33; Hebrews 6:18-20) because God’s love has been poured into our hearts (Acts 2:33; 10:45; Galatians 4:6; Titus 3:6) through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Romans 5:1-5 ESV.
