God Is Raising Up the School of the Prophets
2 Words in 1
When Will You Be Mantled?
“When will You be mantled?” is not the question, but whom you are allowing to mantle you?
A mantle according to the dictionary is a cloak, shaw or a covering that is worn.
The LORD is speaking today heavily. Some of you are wanting to pick up the mantles, but in this season, God is saying that it is very important whom we associate yourselves withm in this season!
Some things, we as the people of God, do not want to associate ourselves with, and neither do we want it to be transferred onto us!
You, see spirits, good or evil, can be transferred from person to person! (Acts 19:13-17).
In other words, you are better off not coveting after or even desiring a mantle that is contaminated with sin, it if it is not a righteous and holy mantle!
Elisha desired the anointing of Elijah his master and he knew that his head was soon to be taken away, because the prophets had warned him.
Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces, (2 Kings 2:12 KJV)
In this season, God is not about to mantle His People with a filthy, disgusting garment with no fire!
Elisha could not even receive this mantle until a transformation had taken place in his own life!
And, this is why he rent and tore off his own clothes, so that a brand new garment could come upon him; a new wine skin!
For, now man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse, (Matthew 9:16).
And, so Elisha took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, (received it) and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.
When God places a brand new mantle on his people you will see the results of that mantle as Elisha did that has been placed on your life! And, you will walk in the anointing of that person the mantle has fallen from and you will do the works they have done or greater in this season.
And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, THEY SAID, THE SPIRIT OF ELIJAH DOTH REST ON ELISHA. (A transferring of authority had taken place in the spirit and Elisha received it!)
And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him. (2 Kings 2:14-15 KJV)
Come on somebody, not only did Elisha receive the mantle released, but those around him bore witness to it being evident in Elisha’s life!
Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus! Praise our God! So much confirmation today!
Not only can Leaders drop mantles, but so can the Holy Ghost!
Luke says, “And the Holy Spirit came down in a bodily shape, like a dove on Him.”
Because the Holy Spirit is just that — spirit — He is not visible to us. On this occasion, however, the Spirit took on a visible appearance and was doubtless seen by the people.
The dove was an emblem of innocence, purity and harmlessness (Matthew 10:16), and the form of the dove at Jesus’ baptism signified that the Spirit with which Jesus was endowed was one of holiness and innocence.
This mantle would be one of a gentle Savior bringing peace to mankind through His sacrifice. Christ being the sent one to redeem man back to God!
God can do anything but fail, he even took Saul and mantled him for a work as King using Samuel!
And the Spirit of the LORD was to come upon him, and he was to prophesy with the other prophets, and should be turned into another man, (1 Samuel 10:6).
Which was questionable because of all that he had done! I believe that Saul unlike Elisha went through the ceremony and performance of being anointed king but his heart was not in it!
He cared more about what the people thought than he did his God!
He did not have an intimate relationship with God or the Prophet Samuel, and he refused to take the counseling of the LORD seriously which lead to his demise in his rising in the kingdom!
God is speaking today and He is saying that He prefers to use others to drop mantles in the lives of His people by association, but if He has to, like Jesus did, He can use the Holy Ghost to directly do it, because He does not want His vessels to become contaminated with defiled oil in this season!!
Everybody who has the gifting and positions and titles in their lives don’t necessarily mean they are walking by the faith of God!
So, appreciate the gifting, but don’t do as they do, or receive the oil that flows from them, because it is likely to cause shipwreck in your life, as it did King Saul!
God Is Raising Up the School of the Prophets and It Is Time to Build!
In this season, God is going to place divine experienced leadership over his people who are experienced in training others in their gifting as he did with Elisha and those who wanted Elisha’s permission to build!
Elisha was a general who was their because the men asked him to come along but I believe that God had him there for such a time as this to demonstrate that no matter how our desire is to build God always has seasoned prophets around to help those who are not as mature as those are that are seasoned!
The axe is symbolic for the word: Gospel; preaching; exhorting others; rebuke; repentance
You see, this axe was important because it was going to be used to help to bring about something new, refreshing, used for repairing, cutting down and the restoration of things to come!
When the borrowed axe fell in the water the younger sons of the prophets panicked but not Elisha he knew exactly what to do he threw a stick!
No, it was. It just any old stick but a stick that was going to be used for the supernatural.
The sons of the prophets respected him and they looked up to him enough to ask him whether or not it was okay to begin to build and Elisha gave the okay and when trouble arose he did not have to guess he knew exactly what to do!
And, so he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.
You see, this axe falling in the water was not a coincidence but it was there to teach the sons of the prophets that God is a supernatural God ready to teach them what it is to utilize the demonstration and the power of God at their hands in the time of trouble if need be!
And, Elisha was the general that God was going to use to teach others in the prophetic just as Elijah had taught him!
My, my, my! Get ready!
God is sending some to grab a beam of wood each and to begin to build in this season (as a team) and you will not be alone but he is going to release you to work with a team of people who will assist you in helping to build his foundation and each one in this team will help to build it beam by beam and brick by brick until it is complete!
“And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us. Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye. And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go. So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood. But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed. And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim,” 2 Kings 6:1-6 KJV.
