God Is Pinpointing Something
Many are floundering in their faith and many things have shifted, and we all must accept that things will never be the same again.
This new era is like when Nehemiah heard the call to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. While building back the walls of defense they all had to learn through experience to have a tool in one hand and a weapon in the other.
Our faith is being tested in the building. Whatever our faith is founded on other than God will fall away.
No matter whatever may come, our faith must be founded on God’s Word not in man. We cannot put anything or anyone before Him. He is a jealous God.
Never in all time has our faith and focus ever been so challenged as it is now! There are so many voices to hear and we err when we heed them instead of being focused on God’s Word!
The world is teetering on the brink of disaster, but we are not led by what we hear, see, or feel. If we leave God out by opting for a prophet’s word instead of hearing him for ourselves we will be deceived.
Our faith is a rock of foundation a stone in which our security lies. Our faith in Christ never changes because it is through our relationship with The LORD in prayer; focusing on the Word of God.
“Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, The LORD, the creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to the that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall; but they that wait upon The LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:28-31 KJV.
Many have been on a type of hamster’s wheel spinning, but going nowhere. Spiritual, emotional, and physical burnout is a real experience.
Spiritually, when we spin our wheels in our belief system but get nowhere, eventually our energy level fades and we face failure in our faith.
Eventually, the flawed belief system we have held on to comes into full view and we must face the facts in God and face our own logic.
Our focus on God and HIS Word is THE foundation of our entire lives.
We can choose to get off that wheel at any time but for many of us we hold on to things because we truly believe them.
God lets us continue on our path to teach us something very important. Life has many challenges and lessons that we have no control over but in God, our lessons will be according to our faith as our final outcome.
Just like becoming exhausted physically over labor or trial, we can become totally exhausted, spiritually, from the “process of growth” in our faith.
Somewhere in that process, God is pinpointing something — wanting us to learn something — before we can ever forge ahead.
God knows when we are ready to forge into the deeper things of God. When we seemingly go around and around the same mountain, again and again, it becomes disheartening and brings discouragement.
We must ask The LORD what is wrong with our belief system, that keeps us in the same loop year after year. i.e. Where we have missed it?
The LORD is wanting us to learn something. Have you ever had an experience where you started out right but failed the test ending up wrong?
It’s like spinning our wheels thinking we are on a journey when we find we were chasing our own tail arriving at the same place.
Like the Israelites, are we still camped out in the same position not learning the lesson? These times of discouragement are hard, because we put so much energy into what we believed.
We walk by faith and not by sight. In Christ, we learn through our experiences. To move forward, we must learn the lessons that came through the journey and learn to live a life of repentance, dusting ourselves off and getting back up and begin again!
We are the only one who can choose to get off that hamsters’ wheel. So many in the Church experience burnout, and they suffer total exhaustion. It is a real experience.
When our experience in our growth remains the same year after year, burnout is a real experience. To waste time in energy, or being idle, or neither progress or regress these are the “spinning wheels” and many are in this position.
To continue going around the same mountain, doing the same things over and over expecting a different outcome, won’t happen!
We must ask God what is wrong with our belief system and what we need to do about it.
Finally, our prayer time and study of God’s Word contain in it all of our answers.
Ultimately God always has the final say. He may be silent, and we may not understand what is happening and some things we may never know fully, but we know He is, was, and will ever be our faith, hope, and trust!

Yes Sunie, God’s Word is a two edged sword in our mouth and in every way we communicate it from within us for the Spirit comes within our body when we receive him as Lord by faith.
