God is not pleased! Holiness is a lifestyle!
Holiness is not a bag of trail mix where you can just pick and choose what you want to eat and then throw the rest away. But rather it is a lifestyle that we are to live daily.
It’s not just for Sundays, and then back to regular scheduled programming during Monday through Saturdays. Either we are walking completely in the ways of The Lord or we are not. Straddling the fence, is not an option!
It’s sad to say that we are saved, but we are cussing and sinning most of the week. Some are in the clubs “turning up” and then will enter God’s sanctuary on Sundays with that same filthy mouth and those same tainted hands, reaching up to praise God! Yes, with the same filthy mouth and hands that were “turned up” to the devil Friday and Saturday nights…
Do you not know that The Lord sees all that you are doing and nothing is hidden from him?
Hell is for real! It is not a fairy tale (Luke 13:28; Luke 16:14-31). Do you not know that death is sure and that if we are not careful it will catch us in our sins? What do you think that the outcome is going to be?
Why are we being hypocritical by trying to live life on both sides of the fence. You know we can feel really sorrowful and repentant for about a month or two. Then it’s back to fussing, cussing, lying, fornicating, backbiting, drama (etc), this is just to name a few of our sinful ways in which we indulge.
God is not pleased and He is warning you to either be completely holy and submitted to Him or you will be completely sinful and committed to Satan and the ways of this world.
No one is perfect, but your motives to live holy each day must be perfect and pure because God knows your exact heart motives and intentions. He knows if you are serious in your walk with him, or if you are just willfully sinning.
Do you know that there is no sacrifice (forgiveness) for you if you know what is truth, but you still deliberately sin? Some will see this as God speaking to them, and others will allow the devil to deceive them and will continue on in their sinful ways. However, the choice is yours, because without holiness, heaven is not an option for anyone.
The choice is yours and your soul is eternal so choose wisely for your soul’s sake!
“Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear god,” 2 Corinthians 7:1.
“If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,” Hebrews 10:26.
“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still,” Revelations 22:11.
