Shared From — “Called to Walk Alone” — the Book.

 

Many asked me, “So what are you? What is this ministry? You are certainly not an Evangelist? What is this ministry?”

The only honest answer I could give them was that I did not know myself!

After the LORD retired me from preaching crusades to enter a new phase of ministry altogether, He began revealing to me what it was that He had called me to do and showed me that my ministry had been prophetic in scope.

He explained to me that the prophetic in reality was the expression of His Life, His Power, Presence and His Word, and that it was exactly what had happened in those crusade meetings that made them so different!

For the first time in 18 years, God allowed me to see how He operated in and through my me, and for the first time I understood how the true prophetic call and ministry functioned in days gone by, and how He had come to restore it in our present day also.

I realised why my ministry was ‘unknown’ to me and to others who tried so hard to fit it in somewhere into “ministry” as it is known in our present day and time.

For the first time I understood the ministry of the prophet, the prophet’s life and his lifestyle in service to the LORD!

I also began to understand that a true and authentic revival ministry was a prophetic ministry (a true and Living manifestation of God’s Presence, Person and Life), and I understood why people experienced Him in the way they did in our meetings.

I understood why on various occasions some saw Him standing on the platform.

I understood why the Cloud of His Glory visibly came into meetings BECAUSE HE WAS THERE!

I understood why people were not able to stand in His Glory and why so many were swept into His Spirit to experience supernatural Revelations and Visions in these meetings.

I understood why authentic miracles and creative miracles freely happened without anyone laying hands on the sick – Jesus was there Himself, laying His hand on them!

I understood why demons could not remain in those bound, and why even during the worship, long before anyone could minister to them – they would begin to manifest and why people would fall to the ground and be freed!

Jesus was there and therefore Satan could not stay! Neither could he remain hidden.

Most of all, I understood why I had lived the life of consecration and solitude that I have during all those years of my ministry.

Why I spent days, weeks and even months in prayer in His Presence.

I understood that my life had been the life of a prophet – called and set apart to Him and for His will to be expressed and made known in and through my life – IT WAS GOD – ALL GOD – nothing less, nothing else!

As I began studying past revivals and saw the same pattern unfolding that I had seen and experienced in my own life and ministry,

I began to understand that being a revivalist meant nothing more and nothing less than the Life of God being expressed in Living Person and in His Power in the midst of His people!

The revivalist is His modern day prophet!
