God Delights in His Jewels
While upon my face last night in worship and prayer, I was deeply interceding and in the background I had a sermon playing by a favorite minister of mine.
All of a sudden in the middle of that sermon, the minister said, “God heard you!”
In the midst of such tears, I looked up to see something laying on the blanket near me glistening.
At first, I didn’t know what that was but reached over and picked it up and this little gemstone is what I found.
It was so perfectly placed near me and i saw it as soon as the minister spoke those words and i raised my head.
It was then this scripture hit my spirit like a lightning bolt.
Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God! (Isaiah 62:3).
Enoch was that rare jewel which so pleased the LORD that he could not leave him here on this earth.
Job was a diamond harder than flint against the onslaughts of Satan.
Stephen was that ruby with his blood shed for the name of the LORD.
Ruth was that aquamarine, just as pure and true as could be.
Paul was that quartz crystal as practical as he was beautiful in the eyes of the LORD.
God delights in His jewels, glistening, shining and glorifying their Creator.
Our present sufferings is nothing to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us.
