God Can Give You a Dream That Will Manifest Your Dreams!
As I was praying on today, I heard The LORD say, “I AM turning it around!”
King Solomon was a great man but he realized that he could not do anything without God!
He took time out daily to spend time with God. You see, only the people sacrificed in high places, because there was no house built unto the name of The LORD, until those days.
King Solomon loved The LORD. He continued to walk in His statutes just as his father David did: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.
And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt (and some of us is not willing to pray 30 minutes) offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.
However In Gibeon, The LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, “Ask what I shall give thee.”
And Solomon said, “Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with Thee; and Thou hast kept for him this great kindness, (to build God an house) that Thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
“And now, O LORD my God, Thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: (such humility) I know not how to go out or come in.
“And Thy servant is in the midst of Thy People which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.
“Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?”
And the speech pleased The LORD, that Solomon had asked this thing. And God said unto him, “Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment; behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.
“And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.
“And if thou wilt walk in My Ways, to keep My Statutes and My Commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days.”
And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the Ark of the Covenant of The LORD and offered up burnt offerings and offered peace offerings and made a feast to all his servants, (1 Kings 3:1-15 KJV).
I believe that God is favoring His people in this season and it is because of their faithfulness, dedication and their loyalty to Him, that He is going to do it like He did King Solomon.
You see, King Solomon proved to God that he was not a selfish King thinking only of himself, but that He wanted to excel in the leadership that God had given unto him.
He saw that the job God had given him required a lot of responsibilities and he wanted to be successful in what God had bestowed upon him; unlike many folks whom God has entrusted His Kingdom and His people with!
God knew that by Him asking King Solomon what was his request, he could have been selfish (ambitious and greedy) and only thought about himself.
But instead, King Solomon was kingdom driven and God centered so I believe that this is why God favored him with his request not only what he had asked of God (wisdom and knowledge) but the things that he did not ask him but could have.
For, the scriptures clearly say, “Delight thyself also in The LORD and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart,” Psalm 37:4 KJV.
As I begin thinking upon God and His Goodness, He begin to show me how it is that so many people claim that God has called them to do a work for Him, but yet they are not God conscious, or God driven to do Kingdom work, and most of what they are building is to promote them and their on fleshly desires; unlike King Solomon.
King Solomon knew he didn’t have the capability to lead God’s people and this is why he humbled himself as a child asking God for help.
He said that, “Thy servant is in the midst of Thy People which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude. Give therefore Thy Servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?”
Some folks hate to admit they don’t have the wisdom and knowledge to lead God’s people, and instead of seeking God for help, they continue to make mistakes after mistakes. But not Solomon!
Solomon, unlike the church of today, had many followers and yet he turned to God for assistance as a leader.
Some of you have only five to ten, but instead of asking God for a gathering anointing, you keep going down the path of nowhere.
Now, I am in no way saying great leadership is all about the numbers, but what I am saying is, why not ask God to enlarge you and your territory in this season? Because God wants to do it as he did for Solomon!
For, except The LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except The LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain, (Psalm 127:1 KJV).
King Solomon wasn’t trying to waste valuable time; instead he went right to the source when the doors of opportunity opened for him.
God was so pleased with King Solomon and what he had asked that God said unto him, “because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment; behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.”
I believe that God is going to open up some mega doors in this season as he did for King Solomon who had a divine encounter with The LORD in his dreams and these dreams didn’t just stay dreams, but they were birthed out into the natural realm for King Solomon!
God looked at King Solomon and he proved his heart and he saw that he was now ready to rule his kingdom, because it was no longer about him and what he could get out of God’s House and God’s People, but God saw that Solomon could be entrusted with His People and His resources; as well!
I believe that God is proving the hearts of many in this season whom He has entrusted to do a work for Him, and like King Solomon, God will never entrust His valuables to any leader without first proving their hearts to see if they are ready for all that He wants to Give unto them.
Solomon proved to God that he was ready to rule and to carry out what God had given unto him!
He knew that in order for him to maintain what God had given to him, he had to continue to walk in God’s statutes and His commandments, as his father David had walked before him, and then God said to him, “I will lengthen thy days.”
Many times leaders get the pattern that God has given them in order to be an an office or a seat; especially Apostles, Prophets and Pastors and they end up like King Saul, doing their own thing and forsaking the pattern of those who have gone on before them, as well as God’s law. As a result, they end up shipwrecked!
But I hear God saying He is going to turn it around and that dream you had, is not only going to be a dream, but a mega reality!
