Go On In Faith; Don’t Give Up Now; Never!
Whatever you may have been seeking God for (if it is according to His Will — 1 John 5:14-15), now is not the time to give up on it.
Don’t give up. NEVER give up!
Remember that most important commandment by The LORD? “Have faith in God….” Mark 11:22.
Without faith it is impossible to please God, (Hebrews 11:6).
Faith is the only supply connection to God, (Galatians 3:5). When you believe, you are connected — and in line to receive the release dispatched from Heaven. If you doubt or disbelieve, you are disconnected.
You must continue to believe so as to remain connected to receive it, at the appointed time of delivery.
Many give up just before the time of delivery!
We must stay put until our LORD Jesus Christ comes with the answer to our prayer.
“Then He [Jesus] spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ” Then The LORD said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when The Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”” Luke 18:1-8.
That last statement by The LORD “when The Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” is both immediate and remote.
In the immediate application, when Jesus comes with the answer to your prayer will He find you waiting in faith? And, in the remote application, (which is fast approaching), in the ONLY moment that matters ultimately — that MOMENT of all moments (GLORY TO GOD!): when The LORD Himself will descend from Heaven for our Rapture to Heaven, will He find you waiting in faith?
Let us remain steadfast in faith for both Heaven’s delivery to us now and our departure to Heaven then.
The LORD says be encouraged, out of weakness be made strong: “For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul,” (Jeremiah 31:25).
Faith is easy when you focus on Jesus. As He commanded, “Do not be afraid; only believe.“ (Mark 5:36).
Remember this. The faith by which you believed for Salvation is the same faith by which you believe for things that accompany Salvation. Your faith gives you the whole Jesus Package: Salvation and things that accompany Salvation, (Hebrews 6:9).
Brethren, fear not: For, “He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32).
Faith is the only means to God, and for things from God. Just believe, pray and receive.
Prevent the hindrance of sin
Sin hinders prayers. (1 Peter 3:4). As The Word says, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, The LORD will not hear.” (Psalm 66:18).
Avoid all unrighteousness; all unrighteousness is sin.
Ask The LORD if there is any blockade of sin (personal, parental, ancestral, etc.) hindering your prayer. If there is, repent and let The Blood of Jesus Christ remove it immediately.
Fend off offences. Ask The LORD Jesus Christ to help you with His Wisdom and Grace so that you are not harbouring any bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, malice and other offences in your heart.
Faith versus Fear
Faith in God is so PRECIOUS that The Word of God calls it “PRECIOUS Faith” (2 Peter 1:1). This is because It is the only means by which to have God and The Riches of His Glory.
Faith is by God, given to us to use always to overcome. Faith is by God, fear is by the devil.
Doubt, unbelief, fear, anxiety, and such like are, in actuality, demons released by the enemy of our soul to derail us.
If doubt and unbelief come, plead The Blood of Jesus against them, and command them in The Name of Jesus Christ to LEAVE!
And, in faith, ask The LORD for faith, The Spirit of Faith.
Unbelief, doubt, anxiety, fear, and the like, result in disconnection of the supply from God.
Unbelief disconnects the mighty works of God: “Now He [Jesus] did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” Matthew 13:58.
If you doubt or disbelieve, you cannot receive from God.
“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from The LORD;” James 1:6-7.
Ask The LORD for Grace to be strong in faith like Abraham. As written, “He did not waver at The Promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving Glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” (Romans 4:20-21).
Believe it, speak it, receive it!
And when you believe it, you must speak it and receive it.
“And since we have the same Spirit of Faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak,” 2 Corinthians 4:13.
That wonderful woman of faith first said it in faith, and then received it by faith – acting with faith.
“Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His Garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His Clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction…Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that POWER had gone out of Him…” Mark 5:25-30 emphasis added.
Do you see? Her speaking and acting in faith connected to The POWER of God. The POWER flowed from Him into her body and healed her. Simple.
That’s just how It works in Christ – “the simplicity that is in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 11:3).
In faith, speak your breakthrough and take actions in faith as led by The Holy Spirit.
Ask The LORD what to pray, what action(s) of faith to take (what you must do) for the breakthrough.
Don’t be weary or worried. The LORD Jesus Christ said He is “The Amen, The Faithful and True Witness” “Who is called Faithful and True,” (Revelation 3:14; 19:11). (“Amen” means so be it ! Jesus is The So be It for us — our answer to prayer).
By faith, get connected to God, and remain connected by grace.
Ask for Grace and Wisdom from The LORD all the time, in all things.
Pray The Word. Nothing else works. Only The Word works in the world.
For example, pray:
“LORD, grant me to be strengthed with might according to Your glorious POWER.” (Colossians 1:11).
“LORD, let Your Grace be sufficient for me, and Your Strength made perfect in my weakness; out of weakness made strong. Let The POWER of Christ rest upon me as well as deliver the answer to me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9, 10; Hebrews 11:34; 2 Peter 1:3).
Demonic or Divine Delay?
Is there delay caused by Satan’s hindrance? (1 Thessalonians 2:18). Pray The Blood of Jesus, pray The Consuming Fire of God (Deuteronomy 9:3) to destroy and clear it out of the way!
Is God delaying? Cry to Him like David and Daniel:
“…You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God.” (Psalms 40:17).
“O LORD, hear! O LORD, forgive! O LORD, listen and act! Do not delay for Your Own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your Name.” (Daniel 9:19).
Having done all to stand, stand in faith, in earnest prayer, in PRAISE, in thanksgiving, in great expectation. Expecting to receive is key to receiving, (Acts 3:5).
Please, whatever be the case, “Watch, stand fast in The Faith, be brave, be strong.” (1 Corinthians 16:13).
It is time, brethren. Let’s keep pressing on in prayer and expectation. It is happening SPEEDILY and SPECTACULARLY! Hallelu-YAH!
The Mouth of The LORD has spoken. “These things says The Amen, The Faithful and True Witness…” (Rev. 3:14). HE is The LORD Jesus Christ.
He has promised, He WILL never fail! (As that song says).
Hang on Him. His Faithfulness is FOREVERMORE.
The saints of old believed and received. Let us learn from them “who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.” (Hebrews 11:33-34 emphasis added).
The above Scripture is for our warfare today, through faith.
Look at my explanatory rendering in [square brackets] inspired by The Holy Spirit below:
By faith we overcome like those “who through faith subdued kingdoms [we, by The Cross of Christ, by praying “Your Kingdom come” to our Father in Heaven, “The kingdoms of this world have become The Kingdom of our LORD and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” Revelation 11:15], worked righteousness [we work righteousness through our Holy Spirit-led actions of faith – i.e. faith with works of faith, James 2:14 – 26], obtained promises [we obtain The Promises of God by faith: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
“For all The Promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to The Glory of God through us.” Hebrews 10:23; 2 Corinthians 1:20], stopped the mouths of lions [“…The LORD stood with me and strengthened me… I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion [the devil].”
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” 1 Peter 5:8 – 9], quenched the violence of fire [Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s Sufferings, that when His Glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.” 1 Peter 4:12-13], escaped the edge of the sword [“In Damascus the governor, under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desiring to arrest me; but I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall, and escaped from his hands.”
“And all the city [Jerusalem] was disturbed; and the people ran together, seized Paul, and dragged him out of the temple; and immediately the doors were shut. Now as they were seeking to kill him, news came to the commander of the garrison that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.
He immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down to them. And when they saw the commander and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul.” 2 Corinthians 11:32-33; Acts 21:30- 32], out of weakness were made strong [And He said to me, “My Grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities [weaknesses], that The POWER of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities [weaknesses], in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s Sake.
For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 – 10], became valiant in battle [“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on Eternal Life…be strong in The LORD and in The POWER of His Might.” 1 Timothy 6:12; Ephesians 6:10], turned to flight the armies of the aliens [Isn’t it interesting? The world now calls demons “aliens” It is not a coincidence. In The Name of Jesus Christ, we turn to flight aliens (demons), cast them out; forbid and destroy them. For The LORD Jesus Christ has given us “power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.”
And He says to us, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
This is “to the intent that now The Manifold Wisdom of God might be made known by The Church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,” Luke 9:1;10:19; Ephesians 3:10].” (Hebrews 11:33-34).
Now, let’s pray with one accord, aloud:
“I waited patiently for The LORD; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a Rock, and established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth — Praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in The LORD. Blessed is that man who makes The LORD his trust, and does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; and Your Thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me; O LORD, make haste to help me! Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion Who seek to destroy my life; let them be driven backward and brought to dishonour Who wish me evil.
Let them be confounded because of their shame, Who say to me, “Aha, aha!”
Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; let such as love Your Salvation say continually, “The LORD be magnified!”
But I am poor and needy; yet The LORD thinks upon me. You are my HELP and my Deliverer; do not delay, O my God.“ (Psalm 40:1-5,13-17).
Hallelu-YAH! Glory to God!!
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of Jesus Christ by The Will of God, according to The Promise of Life which is in Christ Jesus, (2 Timothy 1:1). As John was, Jacob is the disciple whom JESUS loves, (John 13:23;19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20). And like Paul, Jacob is “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
“And having been perfected, He became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
