Glorious Treasures in Earthen Vessels
People will go out of their way to protect the things that they treasure.
They have security systems with cameras installed on their houses and businesses for protection against thieves stealing their valuables.
They have smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors to protect their families against gas leaks and fires.
The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said; “People guard earthly possessions which are precious and valuable to them, but they don’t recognize and protect the treasure that I have placed inside of them.”
We as Spirit filled believers have The Holy Spirit living inside of us, but we don’t realize what a valuable treasure we’ve been entrusted with.
This is the same Holy Spirit who is a part of the trinity along with God the father and Jesus Christ the son, who created the heaven and the earth, healed the sick and raised the dead.
We have the same Holy Spirit Who filled the people on the day of Pentecost in the Upper Room when they began to speak in other tongues.
The Word of God says in Ephesians 4:30 “Do not grieve The Holy Spirit’, and in 1 Thessalonians 5:19 – 20 we are warned not to quench the Spirit and not to despise prophesying.
Some of you have the word of God stored up in your hearts for many years. You have been going through challenging times and finding it difficult to dig up that treasure which seems to be covered with debris.
Jesus wants you to go back and dig up that word that has been planted in your heart. You have unlimited power and authority living inside of you.
The same Spirit Who raised Jesus from the dead dwells on the inside of you. The Holy Spirit wants to give us a revelation of this dunamis power.
Some of you who have not yet identified or even discovered that valuable treasure inside of you yet.
You have wells that you have not yet tapped in to. Do not allow these wells to be stagnant any longer. There are precious treasures and gifts that have been cultivated as you refreshed yourself in The Holy Spirits presence.
They have been imparted to you as you studied the word of God and sought out the mysteries of His Kingdom. They have been conceived as you spent quality time in the secret place.
They have been released to you as you have continued steadfast in prayer, stood fervently in intercession and prayed in the Spirit with perseverance and determination without wavering.
Stir up that which is lying dormant. Resurrect those gifts that are available and accessible. These are not natural treasures of silver and gold but they are treasures of revelatory gifts and mysteries.
Multitudes have gone to their graves without ever discovering these priceless treasures that He has given to them.
Now is the time to discover the treasure that He has placed within you. Jesus does not want to destroy your dreams, your plans, your purposes or your destinies but He wants to fulfill them. Your gift will make room for you.
They are priceless gifts of revelation, hidden mysteries and secrets that need to be discerned. Desire these gifts and discover the treasures that He has placed deep down on the inside of you, and you will see marvelous things in your life and ministry that you have not yet experienced.
Do not think for a moment that you have been disqualified. The gifts and calling’s of God are irrevocable and His purpose will come to pass as you put aside your man made agenda’s and allow Him to show you the hidden treasures that He has placed in you.
“The Mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:26-27
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.” 2 Corinthians 4:7
“Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you – guard it with the help of The Holy Spirit that lives in us.” 2 Timothy 1:14
Blessings in Christ Jesus,
