Three times now I’ve witnessed a total eclipse.

First time at school in the early 50’s, then a few years ago over Cornwall in the Southernmost part of the United Kingdom, then via television, I was blessed to watch an eclipse as it happened in America.

I will never cease to marvel at creations ability to astonish us with its beauty, it’s diversity, and it’s awesomeness. If God has indeed made heaven and earth to His taste, then I cannot begin to imagine heaven.

What wonders await us there? What different plants, flowers, creatures will delight us there? What ‘new’ sights and sounds await us? How will ‘the whole of creation’ worship The LORD?

As I was pondering these things, I fancy I heard The LORD chuckle – that warm little chuckle we would remember from our granddaddy as we listened wide-eyed to his stories of derring-do.

“Oh, I have such wonders as will leave you breathless with amazement. I’ve spent a long time, even by My standards, perfecting it, yet even now, I add things and change things. Because I can.”

I thought seriously for a moment, “Have we lost that child-like innocence for ever Lord?”

“No”, He answered, “not for ever. You’ve lost sight of it since becoming a man, but it’s still there, inside, dormant for now, waiting to be freed again.”

Then The LORD added, “It will all be released for a while when I bring refreshing, renewal, and revival.

At that time, Your intimacy with Me will be restored like you are a child again. You will worship, you will sing, you will dance like you did in your childhood innocence.

Best of all, you will believe as you did then too, and that’s when you will see miracles, signs, and wonders — almost like visions from childhood.

My Glory will only enhance your awareness, yet, as you prostrate yourselves before My Throne, so you will witness My creativity at its greatest.

Oh, My Children, I cannot wait to pour out My Spirit, My love, My presence upon you. People will flood around you wanting to hear about, perhaps see, these miracles for themselves.”

The LORD went on speaking, but I couldn’t hear because I was lost in wonder and awe at the prospect the Almighty was painting for me.

I cannot begin to describe all that I saw. Things, colours, creatures that don’t exist here.

When I came back into focus, I heard Him say, again, “Tell them I AM coming. I know you’ve told them before.

Tell them again! Many still don’t believe Me. Tell them I AM coming soon. Not long now.”

I could feel His Presence very closely at this moment. I don’t think I went there, I just saw glimpses.

All this took place over a short, several minute, period while I sat in my favourite chair at home.

I wasn’t alone, except with God for a few moments. Oh Church, it’s building, it’s building! He’s coming! He’s coming soon!

When will you wake up again to receive His presence?

That’s what we’ve lost, His presence, and I for one want to find it again!

The LORD is waiting too, with more excitement than we can even imagine.

He’s waiting to pour out, to flood us, with the oil of His Presence. That’s when He will bring the Fire of Revival too.

Believe it! I DO!
