Giving and Sowing with the Wrong Motives and Intentions!

In my meditation time with the Lord, the lord was speaking concerning righteous personal covenant relationship with Him. He is wanting the people to seek Him personally and Him only!

In the body of Christ, there is a falling away from the true doctrine and the true Word of God. When it comes to seeking God for personal salvation and covenant relationship with him, people are looking to get the relationship by depending upon the prophets or someone else to come before Him, instead of coming for themselves. They seem to just want to give or sow to receive “a word” from the Lord. Therefore, there is not enough individual time seeking the Lord personally, nor enough time seeking Him through His Holy Word.

The lord says…

“There are many people who give, sow, and pay their tithes with the wrong motives and intent. Some pay their money and give, because they feel that they can buy a blessing or receive something in return from Me! They have the wrong motives and intentions when they give and “sow” in the church, in ministries, and to individuals.

Some of you “sow” and give because you are seeking a personal prophecy or word from the prophets. You give and sow with the intentions of receiving “favoritism” from My servants, or feel that you will get a personal word or “personal favor.” You desire that they give you a word that will tickle your ears and please your flesh. Even some of my prophets and servants are speaking in error to cater to your fleshly desires!

Not only will they be held accountable, but so will you be judged for your wrong motives and intents. You are giving and sowing because you are appeased at what the prophets are speaking. Therefore, you feel that giving and sowing to them will continue to keep them speaking sweet words which make you feel good and secure with where you are spiritually. If you want to know what I am saying directly to you , you must seek Me through my Holy Word, and seek my righteousness, then I will add many blessings unto your life.

Because of your willingness to pay, many of the prophets have allowed their flesh to overtake them and are speaking words that are not in line with my written and holy word. Their actions and the words they speak are not from Me. They are speaking to you falsely to “excite” your flesh for you to give to them. And in your rebellion, you still will not personally come before me to seek me for yourselves! There is no other way around living a life that is holy and pleasing to me. There is no way to receive blessings other than required by
My holy and righteous standard! There is no one who can give you the answers that you seek other than Me! Any prophet or teacher who speaks words or teaches doctrine which do not follow my Holy Scriptures, and who who compromise my Holy Word, is a false prophet or false teacher! My “true” prophets will not be “bribed” or “swayed” from speaking my truth!

I have sent warning after warning to my prophets and leaders over and over again for misleading the people into feeling comfortable and secure with where they are spiritually. They should lead you to repentance and to my Word of Salvation. But this day, I am speaking directly to you and to them! Know that I am judging the motives and intentions for giving and sowing into my kingdom whether its to the Church, to ministries, or to individuals!

You are right to give with a cheerful heart and with the right motives to up-build My Kingdom! But your motives and intentions are not of Me when you think that you can give and sow to buy My blessings or to give in order to receive a personal word and prophecy from the prophets. This is not pleasing when you seek “a word” from the prophets instead of seeking Me! This will in indeed bring my hand of judgement rather than My blessings upon you. Do not continue to “seek a word” from others for your situation; do not continue to give and sow into my kingdom with wrong intentions and motives.

My word and gifts are not for sale! You are in error of my will and my word! Not only you the people, but also the prophets and other servants who compromise my word because of your giving and “sowing” to them! Cease and repent of your actions or everyone will receive their due reward!”

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” Philippians 2: 12.

“But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” Matthew 6:33.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” 2 Chronicles 7:14.

“When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money ¹⁹ and said, “Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.” Peter answered: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! ²¹ You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God. ²² Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart. ²³ For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.” Then Simon answered, “Pray to the Lord for me so that nothing you have said may happen to me. ”After they had further proclaimed the word of the Lord and testified about Jesus, Peter and John returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel in many Samaritan villages” Acts 8:18-25.
