Give Yourself a Break!
Saints, you be encouraged! The LORD God loves you with an unfailing, everlasting love! He is for you, bringing you an expected outcome!
So many times, our heart desires to be perfect and pleasing to God, and yet, we find ourselves coming up short.
If our eyes aren’t fixed on Christ Jesus, we will begin to join the adversary, and beat ourselves up through the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
This is exactly what the enemy wants, and he is so conniving, that he will cause us to use Scripture through the avenue of condemnation, where you have a low self-esteem.
I get into this exhaustively and extensively in my book “Mindfulness the Mind of Christ.”
We can be so hard on ourselves, unaware that we’re doing the enemy’s bidding against our own soul. In this be resolute, and keep your eyes fixed on the Word of God, and what He says about you.
I did this intensely, leading up to my freedom from alcoholism in 2002, where I spoke the Word fervently, about who I was, and refused to label myself a drunk!
I declared “I’m not a drunk, because Christ wasn’t a drunk; nowhere in the scripture does it say Christ was a drunk!”
It’s easier to say the Word of truth over ourselves, and give ourselves a break, when we’ve not tasted the power of The Holy Spirit.
As we become more seasoned in The LORD and mature, growing strong in Spirit, we can begin to expect more out of ourselves, not realizing that the enemy has tricked us, to get us in condemnation.
In the place of going higher, we must go lower still. John the Baptist went through this process, prepared and trained by God as a minister in the wilderness and filled with the Holy Spirit in his mother’s womb, that when he went into prison, doubt and fear began to creep into his mind, where he sent a messenger to ask Jesus, if He was the Christ. Jesus responded with the signs that followed Him, and blessed was the man, who wasn’t offended. (Luke 7:17-23)
Listen Saints, although we’re seasoned, it doesn’t mean we won’t have moments like John, Paul, David, and Job. This is part of being human and reveals our fragility.
Give yourself a break! You’re not a monster or bad, you’re simply a saint being pruned and refined in the faith!
God bless!
“[You should] be exceedingly glad on this account, though now for a little while you may be distressed by trials and suffer temptations, So that [the genuineness] of your faith may be tested, [your faith] which is infinitely more precious than the perishable gold which is tested and purified by fire. [This proving of your faith is intended] to redound to [your] praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) is revealed.” 1 Peter 1:6-7 AMPC

Blessed by your level of transparency and words of wisdom woman of God. All any of us have to do is look where He brought us from – if honest, we should have the capacity to give the grace we received to others. Won’t He do it?! He’s able
