Give Me Jesus!

• Take the world and give me Jesus.
• Take religion and give me Jesus.
• Take idols and give me Jesus.
• Take the modern church and give me the old pathway.
• Take modernism and give me the Word of God.
• Take the modern church and give me Holiness.
• Take compromise with worldly preachers and then give me faithfulness to Jesus Christ and His word.

Choose today who you will serve. As for me and my house we will serve The LORD.

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of god with idols? For ye are the temple of the living god; as god hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their god, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
And will be a father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the lord almighty,” 2 Corinthians 6:14-17.

A Powerful Word!

I give you an illustration that I believe speaks to this word: “When Will The Church Grow Up?”

Years ago I was asked to be part of a tent meeting in the war zone of Albuquerque, NM.. The preacher was a black man, and full of the holy ghost.

I agreed to help in the meetings by furnishing my generators to generate electricity for the meetings, and to help put up the tent and set up the equipment. As well, I did assist him in follow up work and prayer as people did respond to the message.

The preacher rented a vacant lot [in the very worst part of the city that was well known for crime, drugs, drink and sex etc’.] As it turned out, the lot had been the lot where an old motel once stood.

The old motel was the home of much sin and drug activity in Albuquerque and numerous people had been shot or killed on the property. Prostitutes had been there in the rooms. It was an evil place, so evil that the city of Albuquerque did destroy the old motel.

The day we went to set up the tent, I was walking on the property and felt in my spirit a warning about the evil presence on the property. It was if the hair on the back of my neck stood up and a cold pain struck my heart. I said to myself: the devil and demons live on this property!

I went then to the preacher and said to him, “We must pray and pray now, because the devil and demons are all upon this lot.”

He looked at me and rather sharply said: “If I had not already prayed and know in my hart that I serve a God who is greater than all the demons and the devil himself……… I would not be here!”

I was stricken with the realization I was talking to a man of God who believed in an Almighty God and knew exactly who he is and who the preacher is.

I relaxed and said, “Oh my, it is good to be in the presence of a preacher who knows!”
