Sermon Excepts

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” Romans 5:12.

Life Point : What brought death into this world is the sin of one man called Adam. Through his singular act of sin the whole human race died.

Life Point : This is why we must accept Christ and born again to be raise from this death, this is the only road to truly overcoming death.

Life Point : Sickness is a manifestation of death, sickness is not God’s will for man but the wages of sin. It is not God’s will for you to live in sickness, poverty or any affliction.

Life Point : Adam was a prototype of Christ, by his disobedience we all died: poverty, sickness and disease, became our inheritance.

Life Point : Just like Adam, the same way the obedience of Christ has restored health, prosperity, joy, peace and all the fullness of God unto us when we receive him into our lives.

“Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” Romans 5:18-19.

Life Point : God is not going to heal you because of your goodness, God heals because of the obedience of Christ.

Life Point : By the obedience of Christ, God has already given us the free gift of the forgiveness of sins, righteousness, and healing [Romans 5:17, 1 Peter 2:24].

Life Point : Christians have done a very big mistake of separating healing from salvation, this is why many die in sicknesses, blaming God for not healing them.

Life Point : If I ask a believer, are you saved? I hear yes! But if I ask a believer going through a temptation, are you healed? Many will say no! Because they are waiting for God to do some new thing.

Life Point : Isaiah equates the two together, declaring that the same death, sufferings that got us born again are the same that healed us.

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5.

Life Point : Jesus proved this when he was alive, that it was his death that will heal and cleanse us once and for all. When he healed the sick, cast out devils, he was only fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy

“When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” Matthew 8:16-17.

Life Point : After his resurrection, Peter wrote about righteousness and healing as a thing already fulfilled. By his stripes we were healed.

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24.

Life Point : God is not going to heal anyone any longer, God has already healed us all, all we need do is to believe and receive the manifestation of his gift of healing in our bodies, the same way we believe and receive the gift of salvation.

How do I get healed?

Step 1: Receive the forgiveness of sins which comes with healing.

Pray with me below:

LORD Jesus, I thank you for dying my death, I believe You rose again to give me life and righteousness.

I confess you as my LORD and Saviour, I now receive eternal life into my being, I receive health and wholeness in Jesus’ Name.

Amen.

Start believing and talking like an already healed Christian!

For indeed your sicknesses have been lifted. The root of your sicknesses have been destroyed, as you believe on, you are surely testifying!
