The GOOD success of the child of GOD depends on his obedience and knowing his time of visitation in the day of visitation, (Joshua 1:8; Luke 19:44; 1 Peter 2:12).

As The LORD JESUS warned, there are grave destructive consequences if you do “not know the time of your visitation.“ (Luke 19:44).

Indeed, The LORD hates “any fornicator [both physical and spiritual] or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.” (Hebrews 12:16).

Therefore, with The Help of The HOLY SPIRIT, we must be like “the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do,” (1 Chronicles 12:32).

Esther was like the sons of Issachar: she had understanding of the times and did KNOW what Israel ought to do. And she instructed so, mobilised them and secured a most spectacularly dramatic deliverance, favour and promotion recounted in Scripture.

The story? Haman, a type of Satan, cunningly plotted and obtained a royal decree to wipe Jews out of the foreign kingdom they had been exiled — exactly what his father the devil is seeking to do to us right now in this world! (John 8:44; 1 Peter 5:6).

But, by GOD’s “Grace and Favor“, Esther, a Jewish “young woman…lovely and beautiful” (Esther 2:17, 7) had just been chosen by the king to be his new queen out of many young women from all over the empire.

The previous queen, Vashti, had been dethroned for pridefully putting the king to great open shame when she refused his command to appear with him during the grand finale of over six months of royal celebrations with pomp and pageantry.

(The kingdom — Media and Persia — was a very vast and cross-continetal empire with “one hundred and twenty-seven provinces, from India to Ethiopia” {Esther 1:1}. If America, with 50 states, is so big, imagine an empire with 127 provinces!).

Mordecai, Esther’s cousin who brought her up as his own daughter when she lost her parents, was told about Haman’s soon-to-be-carried-out plot of mass murder of the Jews.

When Mordecai learned of the evil plot, he tore his clothes and put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried out with a loud and bitter cry. (Esther 4:1).

Esther was told about Mordecai’s state and wardrobe. She was deeply distressed, and sent garments to clothe Mordecai and take his sackcloth away from him, but he would not accept them. (Esther 4:4).

Perplexed, Esther sent one of the king’s eunuchs attending to her to find out from Mordecai what the matter was.

Mordecai told the eunuch all that had happened to him, and the details of Haman’s murderous scheme to destroy the Jews. He also gave him a copy of the written decree for their destruction, to show and explain to Esther, and that she should go in to the king to make supplication to him and plead before him for her people. (Esther 4:7-9).

When Mordecai’s words were reported to Esther, she sent word back to him with indignant helplessness:

“All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that any man or woman who goes into the inner court to the king, who has not been called, he has but one law: put all to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter, that he may live. Yet I myself have not been called to go in to the king these thirty days.
So they told Mordecai Esther’s words. And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” So Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Esther commanded him.” Esther 4:11-17.

Look at the turn of events on the THIRD day of fasting (indicating release of Resurrection POWER!) when Esther boldly went in to the king.

“Now it happened on the third day that Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king’s palace, across from the king’s house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house. So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter.” Esther 5:1-2.

Fasting and prayer released THE POWER OF CHRIST — He Who opens and no one can shut, Revelation 3:7-9 — and made possible what was even against the law!

Esther then requested the king to come to “a banquet of wine” (Esther 5:6), which prophetically represented celebration of “The Cup of Blessing” The Blood of Jesus, “The New Covenant in [His] Blood” as established at The Last Supper, (1 Corinthians 10:16; Matthew 26:26-28).

Our petitions and requests, yes, all our coming before GOD, must be by The BLOOD of JESUS. (See Hebrews 10:19-23).

Therefore, when praying, state explicitly that: “In Jesus’ Name, Father, I come before You, having boldness to enter The Holiest by The BLOOD of JESUS, by The New and Living Way Which He consecrated for us through The Veil, that is, His Flesh.”

Then, as Psalm 100:4 commands, approach GOD with thanksgiving.

THANK Him profusely for His Salvation, His GREAT Love with Which He has loved us.

Thank Him for His Mercy, Faithfulness, Goodness, Kindness, Righteousness, Holiness, etc.

Thank Him for what He has already provided (even if it is little; when JESUS thanked GOD for the little food, GOD released so much to feed over five thousand!).

Next, Pray for GOD’s Kingdom to come and His Will be done on earth exactly as It is in Heaven.

Then, Present your requests by The Blood of JESUS. Speak with tongues fervently.

(If you don’t have this WONDERFUL, POWERFUL Gift of GOD for prayer, you’re missing sóoo much!

Ask Him for It immediately. It will change your life exponentially. Speaking with tongues literally builds you up biologically and Spiritually and makes your prayer PERFECT and SECURE to GOD.

Speaking with tongues is not for denominational debate, It is for GOD. Paul said “I wish you all spoke with tongues.” Study 1 Corinthians 14:2-39 to see what I am saying and more).

After presenting your requests, ask GOD to forgive you your sins, having forgiven others. Ask Him to help you not to fall into temptation; and pray for His Deliverance from the devil because HE has The Kingdom, The Power and The Glory forever and ever.

What JESUS taught (and some people call ‘The LORD’s Prayer’) is an outline and order of what and how to pray. It is not to be recited like a poem.

Now then, back to sister Esther’s story and HOLY SPIRIT-led strategies.

At the banquet of wine, Esther requested the king, with Haman, to attend yet another banquet of wine the next day, at which she will present her petition and request to the king.

(Thus, we are to keep deploying THE BLOOD OF JESUS repeatedly, keep presenting our requests to GOD by THE BLOOD! In a dream sometime ago, THE HOLY SPIRIT said: “Plead THE BLOOD OF JESUS before THE FATHER for your inheritance.”

HALLELU-YAH! GLORY TO GOD! THE BLOOD makes it all possible and available. THANK YOU JESUS!).

With the two royal banquet invitations, Haman went out exceedingly joyful, but when he saw Mordecai in the king’s gate, he was indignant at the sight of him, and that this Jew did not stand and tremble in his presence.

Haman went home and told his wife and friends that his great riches, the multitude of his children, and his status as the highest ranking courtier of the king, as well as Queen Esther’s two exclusive banquet invitations meant nothing to him as long as he saw Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.

“Then his wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, “Let a gallows be made, fifty cubits high, and in the morning suggest to the king that Mordecai be hanged on it; then go merrily with the king to the banquet.” And the thing pleased Haman; so he had the gallows made.” Esther 5:14.

THE LORD JESUS said: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10).

First thing in the morning, Haman went to execute his evil plan to ask the king permission to hang Mordecai. BUT the very night before that morning, The Living GOD, Faithful and True, had caused the king sleeplessness.

He commanded the records of the chronicles to be read before him. And it was found written that Mordecai had given a most valuable tip-off that enabled the palace to foil an internal assassination plot against the king. Esther had caused Mordecai’s name to be recorded for the tip-off.

Mordecai’s action saved the king’s life. However, he had not been rewarded whatsoever. I believe GOD reserved Mordecai’s reward for when he most needed it — to exalt him right before Haman, using Haman, on the day Haman wanted him hanged!

Oh, how I LOVE JESUS and His Timing! (Although it is not easy waiting. LORD help us!).

“Then the king said, “What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said, “Nothing has been done for him.” So the king said, “Who is in the court?” Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the king’s palace to suggest that the king hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him. The king’s servants said to him, “Haman is there, standing in the court.” And the king said, “Let him come in.” So Haman came in, and the king asked him, “What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?” Now Haman thought in his heart, “Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?” And Haman answered the king, “ For the man whom the king delights to honor, let a royal robe be brought which the king has worn, and a horse on which the king has ridden, which has a royal crest placed on its head. Then let this robe and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that he may array the man whom the king delights to honor. Then parade him on horseback through the city square, and proclaim before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!’ ” Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king’s gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken.” So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai and led him on horseback through the city square, and proclaimed before him, “Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!” Afterward Mordecai went back to the king’s gate. But Haman hurried to his house, mourning and with his head covered. When Haman told his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened to him, his wise men and his wife Zeresh said to him, “If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of Jewish descent, you will not prevail against him but will surely fall before him.” While they were still talking with him, the king’s eunuchs came, and hastened to bring Haman to the banquet which Esther had prepared.” Esther 6:3-14.

(Look at GOD’s PERFECT Intervention for the righteous: Haman went to “suggest” to the king to hang Mordecai. But GOD rather used Haman’s mouth which “suggested” the reward of honour and dignity the king gave Mordecai).

At the banquet, the king again asked Esther to know her petition and request for him to do it.

She then stated that she and her people had been sold to be annihilated.

“So King Ahasuerus answered and said to Queen Esther, “Who is he, and where is he, who would dare presume in his heart to do such a thing?” And Esther said, “The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!” So Haman was terrified before the king and queen. Then the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stood before Queen Esther, pleading for his life, for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king. When the king returned from the palace garden to the place of the banquet of wine, Haman had fallen across the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he also assault the queen while I am in the house?” As the word left the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face. Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, “Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.” Then the king said, “Hang him on it!” So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath subsided.” Esther 7:5-10.

Haman’s genocide decree was swiftly reversed, his wicked plot against the Jews having returned on his own head when he and his sons were hanged on the gallows.

“On that day King Ahasuerus gave Queen Esther the house of Haman, the enemy of the Jews. And Mordecai came before the king, for Esther had told how he was related to her. So the king took off his signet ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai; and Esther appointed Mordecai over the house of Haman.” Esther 8:1-2.

Mordecai became second to the king!

“So Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, with a great crown of gold and a garment of fine linen and purple; and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad. The Jews had light and gladness, joy and honor.” Esther 8:15-16.

Does not Proverbs 29:2 say it?

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.“

Subsequently, “On the day that the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, the opposite occurred, in that the Jews themselves overpowered those who hated them.” Esther 9:1.

This Divine deliverance, favour and promotion, we, as children of GOD, celebrate as Purim. (Purim is derived from Pur, the Persian word for lot — thus referring to when Haman cast the lot to destroy the Jews).

Fasting for Deliverance, Favour and Promotion

When Esther approached the king while she fasted and prayed, she found favour in his sight. Deliverance and promotion immediately followed.

Looking at Haman’s father, the devil’s many wicked plots against us in this hour, we must likewise fast and pray in this season for our deliverance, favour and promotion.

“For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.” Romans 15:4.

I assure you: this Purim, KING JESUS is sitting on His Throne of Glory ACTUALLY expecting whoever will approach Him in fasting and prayer for His SWIFT Deliverance, Favour and Promotion — to turn sorrow to joy, mourning to merry-making, distress to rest.

“Let us therefore come boldly to The Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16.

“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter The Holiest by THE BLOOD OF JESUS, by a New and Living Way Which He consecrated for us, through The Veil, that is, His Flesh, and having a High Priest over The House of GOD, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He Who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:19-23.

Esther said: “…I will go to the king, which is against the law…” (Esther 4:16).

Your situation may be legally impossible, medically impossible, financially impossible, maritally impossible. BUT with GOD all things are possible! PRAISE GOD! Hallelu-YAH!

THE MAJESTIC LORD, The King of Glory, WILL turn things around for us SWIFTLY if we ask Him.

“For The LORD is our Judge, The LORD is our Lawgiver, The LORD is our King; He will save us“! Isaiah 33:22.

Purim this year is from sunset on 25th to sunset on 26th February. (Biblically, it should actually end on the 27th February, because Purim is to be celebrated yearly on the 14th and 15th of the month of Adar).

Therefore, I suggest that, as Esther commanded and did for three days, we fast and pray on 24th, 25th and 26th February for The LORD’s Deliverance, Favour and Promotion this Purim. And then celebrate with a feast of joy and gladness on the 27th (February).

Paul talked about being in fastings often; no wonder he run such a race of POWER and victory!

I know this for certain and experience, that, during Purim, The Feasts of The LORD, etc., GOD opens special portals to respond to all who separate themselves to specially approach Him in fasting and prayer.

Indeed, somethings WILL NOT happen, some problems cannot be shifted without prayer and fasting, (Matthew 17:21).

When GOD Spoke to Me About Purim

On February 1, 2021, I went to a major office of a huge multinational company for some customer service transactions. I was given ticket number 26 to be called for my turn.

Because GOD speaks through numbers a lot, I always depend on The HOLY SPIRIT to discern and determine if He is saying anything through a number/numbers to me as I observe. And so I took note of the 26. Then I kept seeking THE LORD about it.

And voilà! I got to know subsequently that it is about Purim this year — 26 February.

Furthermore, THE HOLY SPIRIT led me to release two related Words consecutively: “We Must Appeal To JESUS…“ and this one about fasting this Purim for His release of Deliverance, Favour and Promotion.

The Mouth of Two or Three Witnesses

“By the mouth of two or three witnesses every Word shall be established.” 2 Corinthians 13:1.

Three user comments (reproduced below) in response to the previous Word, confirmed THE LORD’s Leading and The Working of His MIGHTY POWER!

Adams wrote:

“The other time you posted [that] we should call on Jesus for debt cancellation. I prayed as you taught us with faith & my debts are being cancelled gradually to the glory of God. I will appeal to Jesus as this is a now word for me. Thanks a lot”.

When I read Adams’ testimony, my eyes welled up with tears of thanksgiving to GOD, that a brother is receiving His Deliverance because I obeyed and released His Word as He had instructed me.

Another user comment is by Carol:

“Amen brother! This reminds me too of Esther’s appeal to King Xerxes to put an end to the mischief of Haman [the] Agagite and the King granted the request because God granted Esther favor with the King after she & the Jews fasted & prayed to Jehovah God.

May God our Eternal King put an end to the mischief of our enemies & the wicked rulers and overrule their evil dispatches…”

Carol, obviously not privy to my next Word (which is this one), unknowingly confirmed what The LORD had instructed me to do.

The crux of the matter in both Words is our warfare and our deliverance by GOD. This too was confirmed by Edem, who wrote:

“Clap clap clap. Hallelujah. I appeal to Jesus Christ today. Oh God I hand over all my battles and battles against the body of Christ to you. By your divine mercy and favour, grant us divine acquittal and vindicate us oh Lord. Recompense tribulation to them that trouble [us] according to your word and exact your vengeance on our enemies of your kingdom. Amen. God bless you bro Jacob.”

So, GOD spoke and confirmed it.

Calendars and Years

Finally, there are three major calendars running concurrently in the earth today: The Divine Calendar (GOD’s Calendar), a two-version Jewish calendar and the Gregorian calendar.

(In Jewish tradition, GOD’s Calendar is divided into Ecclesiastical calendar and Civil calendar. But GOD never made any such distinction in His Word. He has only ONE Calendar).

GOD’s Calendar is substantive and perfect. But the two Jewish calendars wrongly partitioned the Divine Calendar, and the Gregorian calendar is a wrongly calculated calendar brought in use by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582 to correct a minor inaccuracy in the Julian calendar, but, as a solar calendar, is much out of sync with GOD’s Calendar, which is a lunar calendar.

For example, AD1 should be about 4BC. In other words, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST was born around 4BC, and NOT AD1.

The amazing thing though is that, GOD still goes by the two humanly established Jew and Gentile calendars in addition to His.

Biblically, The New Year actually starts with the Passover month (Exodus 12:2;13:4) — the month of Abib (pronounced “Aviv” — also known as Nisan) and ends with Adar, the 12th month.

What is now popularly called The Jewish New Year and marked with Rosh Hashanah is, in fact, The Jewish Agriculture New Year.

Therefore, on The Divine Calendar, we are in the 12th and last month, Adar, the first day of which started from sunset on 11th February to sunset on 12 February. It has 29 days.

Purim is thus celebrated at the end of the year on GOD’s Calendar. And remember, David said to Him: “You crown the year with Your Goodness, And Your Paths drip with abundance.” (Psalm 65:11).

Again, Adar is the 12th month. Twelve is the number of Divine Government and Authority. He can do whatever He wants.

As the king repeatedly asked Esther, so The King Eternal is asking you: What do you wish (according to His Will)? What is your request? What is your petition?

Therefore, let us fast and pray for GOD’s Deliverance, Favour and Promotion this Purim as He did for Esther, Mordecai and their people. JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Let us therefore press in and press on this Purim for His Intervention.

“Believe in THE LORD your GOD, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” 2 Chronicles 20:20.

Jacob, an apostle of Jesus Christ by The Will of God, according to The Promise of Life which is in Christ Jesus, (2 Timothy 1:1).
As John was, Jacob is the disciple whom JESUS loves, (John 13:23;19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20). And like Paul, Jacob is “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
“And having been perfected, He became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
