If Angels Go Before Us . . .

This Scripture was quoted yesterday by a friend and prophet:

“Behold, I am sending an angel before you, to guard you on the way and to bring you into the place that I have prepared. But if you listen closely to His voice, and do everything I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.” Exodus 23:20-22.

These verses came before me yesterday and, I must say, they surprised me a little.

I must have read them so many times but I’ve never before particularly noticed them.

They remind me of the passage in Romans 8:31 — “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

BUT…..

There’s one very important caveat in Exodus — “But if you listen closely to His voice, and do everything I say,”!

It’s another of those conditional promises of the “if you…/ then I….” variety!

However, if we do listen, and when we do obey, THEN God will indeed be for us and therefore who can be against us?

The hurdle we must all clear is that of obedience to Gods spoken and written word, even when it’s given through a third party!

When will Christians fully grasp the full meaning of 1 Samuel 15:22-23,

“So Samuel said: “Has The LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of The LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.” 1 Samuel 15:22-23.

So — if God is for us in, any way He chooses to express that, who then can possibly be against us.

Angels go with us every place we go — that’s quite a promise isn’t it? If we are being obedient; if we are within His will; then who indeed can be against us?

Just saying — that’s all!

Gates — Not the Gates of Freedom, but the Gates of Your Hearts

“Swing wide your gates for My Glory is approaching.

Let Me in — allow My Glory to manifest — for He brings healing, He brings refreshing, and revival comes on His heels.

Swing wide your gates, do not keep them closed, for I will not where I AM not welcomed.

For too long I have waited, impatient like a stallion at the race, eager to run free.

For too long you have sought only my deliverance instead of My Presence. For too long your people have hungered for Me, thirsted for the living waters of life that I bring.

Now is the time of your breakthrough. You have fasted and prayed with too little expectation of a good answer. “Perhaps The LORD will hear us today!” you said.

Now your answer comes, My answer arrives!

Swing wide your gates for My Glory is approaching.

The day of your deliverance, the day of your inheritance, is here.

Open wide your gates, keep them shut and barred no longer, for I AM bringing My Glory, the Shekinah Glory of My Presence, into your house.

I will bring Glory to My Name in your house and you shall receive the mantle of glory I have prepared for you.” saith The LORD of Hosts, YHWH is His Name.

I see the Glory Cloud entering, looking like smoke billowing, swirling, enveloping all.

None can stand in its presence — all prostrate themselves before it.

Mantles fall over those present and one by one they stand again — arms raised in worship — totally abandoned worship.

They dance, they sing, young and old together. I hear Angels worshipping too, eager to join in, eager to help, to anoint.

“LET GO of your inhibitions!” says The LORD, “Let go and allow me to lead you.

Allow Me to teach you My Dance, My Song. Your joy shall know no bounds when My Glory invades your lives!”

LORD, do whatever you need to do in me/ us that will prepare me/us to walk in power for the place you have prepared for us!
