In the early morning hours on June 2, 2015; I was awoke by the voice of the Lord saying… ”Gatekeepers, be aware of the hunter.”

These words were spoken several times,and when the final alarm went off, I did not sense any panic or fear, but rather an alert and a sobering alarm; it was time to get up and seek the Lord about what it was He was saying and what HE desired to reveal to HIS people.

A successful hunter is select, smart and stealthy. They are visually hidden, blending into the surroundings; at times placing themselves in high places so they may look down upon that which they are hunting. Masking their scent so as not to be detected… they have a strategy, a plan. To get the “one”, they wait, watch and POSITION themselves in the shadows; or they stalk and track the paths and territory for that which they hunt. To be able to hunt “legally”… one must have a license or tag. There are regulations and rules for engagement that a hunter must adhere to for a “legal” hunt. Much of this description is true and parallel to that of a “hunter” in the spirit realm.

The role and position of a gatekeeper in the natural is to tend to the appointed gates and control what enters and leaves through the gates. Their authority comes through the owner, the Master of the land. With hearts on fire for the LORD; a spiritual gatekeeper is to protect the HOLINESS of the Lord’s House; by defending the gospel, the TRUTH of WORD of GOD. They are to speak TRUTH in LOVE and keep God’s people on the path to righteousness, keeping the gates open for harvest. They are prayer warriors and intercessors for God’s people. Gatekeepers anticipate and expect the arrival for the Master’s return… ready to welcome, receive and celebrate the coming GLORY of the LORD! Not everyone is called to be a gatekeeper.

As I continued to converse with and wait upon the Lord… I saw many who have been called and chosen to tend spiritual gates. Many were pregnant and ready to give birth. They were God’s people that had been in deep prayer, and keenly aware of their spiritual surrounding’s. Discernment was heightened and their insurance policy was solid… paid for in full by the Lord Jesus Christ. Though, many were in a place of weariness, they were faithfully postured in prayer, grazing peacefully while waiting for birth, fulfillment of promise, breakthrough and bountiful harvest… not just personally but corporately. Yet, SUDDENLY without notice, a HUNTER in a POSITION of INFLUENCE AND AUTHORITY was right behind them, seeking to be right on top of them, ready to take them out, ready to mess with the harvest and spoil their breakthrough. This stunned them, for they had not seen the wolf hiding in sheep’s clothing… they had not heard, smelled or seen the hunter for who he really was… the disguised hunter grazing in the same field!

“Gatekeepers, be AWARE of the hunter”. KEEP watchful and BE AWARE of wolves in sheep’s clothing, especially those in POSITION, INFLUENCE and AUTHORITY! I sense the Lord desiring to impress upon His Beloved, to not be afraid or REACT to the warning…. but rather RESPOND in quiet awareness while seeking DIVINE WISDOM and STRATEGY; continuing to go about Kingdom business, and INTERCEDING IN PRAYER… while being fully AWARE of the “hunter”.

SEEK and ALLOW God given wisdom to be our strategy in dealing with the wolf. As we are interceding, placing on the FULL ARMOUR of GOD and committing to COMPLETE TRUST in the LORD. In all things we must be pressing in with prayer, not just for our own needs, but that of our neighbor… and those that HE has divinely connected us with… We shall not respond in isolation, or abandon others when the hunter is approaching or in the midst… for this is another ploy of the hunter… to split up the herd, to split up the flock… and when he can’t get the “one” he wants, He will go after the lonely and abandoned.

I sense the Lord placing an emphasis on the subject of fear; fear of the LORD is the beginning of WISDOM. Any fear outside of that, we are to eradicate from our lives and to live in the absence of it! For it is a KEY to not entertain, dwell, linger, give in to or react to fear… as fear can trigger premature birth. Fear weakens us, and allows for chaos. Fear creates a distress call and an aroma so pleasing to the wolf… (hunter), that he/ she will move in opportunity, with a devouring appetite will take what he/she came for.

The hunter is also seeking to rob the tender born (vision) and will surprise and stun more than one sheep (soul) at a time. FEAR and reaction to FEAR gives away our spiritual position… it allows the hunter to know our location spiritually. BE PREPARED with DIVINE WISDOM and ASSURANCE OF INSURANCE in the LORD. For more alarms will sound, and in SEEKING and KNOWING the Father, HE WILL give divine strategies!

The hunter only has authorization (spiritually) for the area in which he/she is allowed to hunt. Discern him, see him, be aware of him, for he/she is masquerading in deception. We are children of the LORD, we have KINGDOM RIGHTS! We cannot give authority away to the hunter; by fear, by judging, reacting or making a spectacle of what we “know” or “see”. For, I sense strongly that this is a time that a silent strength is being forged between the Lord and HIS people. A time in which a bond of solid, reinforced TRUST is accelerating, and a download of strategies are being given to His people. It may “appear” that the hunter is right over top of you, ready to take you out, or stalking the flock and gates… but the Lord has a SURPRISE AMBUSH for the hunter, and He must yield and bow to the command of the LORD! The strategic prayers of HIS people are a KEY STRATEGYto this AMBUSH!

In this day, rejoice that we we have a Father who loves us so… and SEES ALL THINGS! For HIS LOVE is so great that He would give us an alarm… an alert, ahead of time… so that we may prepare and receive a strategy that reveals and trumps the HUNTER. This is a KEY time to live in freedom from fear, intercede, to pray in the spirit, to ask for more wisdom… and to pray up and keep the gates open to and for the harvest… it is a KEY time to be ONE with the BODY of Christ… and KEEP SPIRITUALLY ALERT.

YES, gatekeeper’s be AWARE of the hunter; while entertaining a spirit filled atmosphere of discerning alert, sober sight, with praise and tongues upon our lips. Ears in submission for fine tuning by the hand of the Father to HIS frequency, to HEAR HIS secret language that is known only between His children and himself. This is where divine strategies are given. This is the atmosphere in which we truly become partners in like mind and spirit of our Father. HE loves us so, that HE sent HIS SON, so that we may not perish… but have everlasting LIFE!

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves,” Matthew 7:15.

“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves,” Matthew 10:16.

“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds,” 2 Corinthians 11:13-15.

“Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, shedding blood, destroying lives to get dishonest gain,” Ezekiel 22:27.

“And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it. She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne,” Revelation 12:1-7.

“And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray,” Matthew 24:4-5.

“Israel is a hunted sheep driven away by lions. First the king of Assyria devoured him, and now at last Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has gnawed his bones,” Jeremiah 50:17.

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,” 1 Timothy 2:1-15.

“For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness,” Psalm 84:10.

“Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus,” Revelation 14:12.

”God is my strong fortress; And He sets the blameless in His way. “He makes my feet like hinds’ feet, And sets me on my high places. “He trains my hands for battle, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze,” 2 Samuel 22:24.

“Yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. The Lord GOD is my strength, And He has made my feet like hinds’ feet, And makes me walk on my high places. For the choir director, on my stringed instruments,” Habakkuk 3:19.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him,” John 3:16.
