Fruits and Vines
Throughout the Gospels, Jesus talks about fruits and vines.
If the “root” is pagan and /or wicked, then the fruit will always be unholy. No amount of prayer, oil, holy water, changing the name/title, or even marriage (for those engaging in sexual perversion within marriage) will make it Holy.
“A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.” Matthew 7:18
Avoid that which causes defilement lest you be defiled. Grace doesn’t replace Holiness.
The word ‘Grace’ in both חֵן Hebrew and χάρις Greek simply means ‘favor.’ The Favor of God given to us through Jesus Christ does not omit us from obeying His commandments.
YHVH-God commands us to be Holy and to live holy lives.
“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?” Romans 6:1-2
The lies that we (and apostate leaders) tell ourselves so that we can continue in darkness will only go as far as this life; for it will not justify you in the next.
Thus says The LORD of hosts:
“If one carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with the edge he touches bread or stew, wine or oil, or any food, will it become holy?” The priests answered and said, “No.” And Haggai said, “If one who is unclean because of a dead body touches any of these, will it become unclean?” The priests answered and said, “It shall be unclean.” Haggai 2:11-13
This life is your test. Whether you pass it or not is completely up to you.
You will either choose to live for God or you will choose to live for yourself.
But know that it is one or the other; you cannot serve both.
So stop making excuses for living in the gray [lukewarm] area; this life (of which we are NOT citizens of) is not worth your place in eternity with the King.
“Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit The Kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
It’s time to overcome. This is the season of ekklesia…
“He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His Angels.” Revelation 3:5
