From Crisis to Transition to Coming Out in the Power of the Spirit
One of the ways to recognize that you are in transition is that you will begin to experience something that moves you into a place where none of your surroundings seem familiar…
At times, God will take you away from every support system to reduce you to wanting nothing but the one who can give you life!
Crisis Will Bring You Into Transition
You will also experience something such as a crisis in transition.
Sometimes what seems like it is not God, is a step into your next level.
Many times this will seem like demotion, such as when Joseph had a great dream of his brothers bowing down to him, but the next thing that happened is his flesh and blood sold him into captivity, but it was all in God’s big picture!
When you go through transition, if you are like me, it seemed like it was not God at the time, but all along it was in the plan to take me elsewhere!!
It could be a divorce, a church split,or a move, a death, loss of ministry etc….
This will immediately bring you to a place of dis-placement from everything familiar in your life!
Crisis brings displacement, but don’t quit there! Keep moving until replacement comes!
The LORD said to Israel that He had brought them into the wilderness to see what was in their hearts, and that they should recognize that man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God!
God brought them into unfamiliar territory where there was no support system, howbeit however bad it was in Egypt, they were still tempted to go back into their bondage where they had leeks and onions.
Sometimes we are tempted while we are in transition, to run back to the familiar, even though it was the place of our bondage.
This is always the wilderness experience, but this is transition.. (Some need a new foundation) See “The Whirlwind Called 2012“.
LORD, I Feel Confused! (The Hall of Transition)
While in this process we will feel disoriented as if we do not know which way to go..
I remember as I went through a wilderness experience, I would look up at the sky and say God where are you? Do you see me?
We also will feel abandoned by God, but this is the devil’s temptation in the process to get us to doubt God’s love and provision for us!
Remember while in transition God is allowing us to go through the test to promote us and take us to a new place in Him, but the devil tempts us to do things His way or to give up in the process.
The Spirit drew Jesus into the wilderness to be tested but when He was weak the Devil tempted Him.
Steps to Making It to Your New Level
The first things you need to do in transition are:
One:
Recognize and acknowledge the process!
Know that this is God’s way of getting you from one place to another in Him and that He has a good plan for your life!
You must know the Love of God that passes understanding!
Two:
Embrace the process!
Know that God is taking you to a new level and relax and focus on the big picture!
Even the pitfalls are a part of the process as long as we do not let the devil talk us into giving up!
Three:
Trust the process!
Trust that God knows what He is doing in your life and that there are greater things ahead and know that this process it working for you and not there to kill you!
For these light afflictions are working for you a greater weight of glory!
Four:
This is the time to Praise Him in the process!
Praise Him because you are becoming more like Christ!
Praise Him because there is a greater weight of glory coming forth!
Praise Him because you are coming into another level in your destiny!
Because He is taking you to a new level of authority! and worship Him for what He is about to do in your life!!
Expect Him to do greater things in you and through you!
“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory…..” 2 Corinthians 4:17.
You Have a Greater Capacity!
Also when I go through the transition He wants you to realize that there is a greater capacity in you that you are not yet anointed for but soon will be.
(He is teaching you new things to take into your next season.).
Also you can not rely on the strengths of your past season because in your weakness you discover your capacity for greatness!
You find out who He can be in you! When you are empty handed again!
He is bringing you out of your comfort zone and into the glory zone as your faith in Him increases and your disillusionment of who you are shows up!
He is about to show Himself strong in you!
He will lead you down paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake, so keep the conversation going with the Shepherd!
Don’t run away from Him, but run to Him in the process!
He is the vine and you are the branches and you can do nothing without Him!
Remember you are being pruned for greater service (read John 15.)
In this process, He is wanting you to grow up and hear the voice behind you saying “This is the way walk in it!”
Follow the Shepherd!
Always remember that you may not always think you know where you are going, but the steps of a righteous man or woman are ordered of the LORD, and all things are working together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose!
Know that all of the good and bad and ugly is working for you and toward your destiny and vision that God has placed in your heart!
Trust Him, praise Him, follow His lead, and then like Jesus…
You will come out of that wilderness experience in the power of the Spirit, and you will do great exploits because you have come to know your God!
Make this a time of growing closer to God and not farther away because transition is a proving ground to show weather you will be qualified to go forth or disqualified!
Let’s go forth in the power of His Spirit! Glory to His Name!
Dead Situations
I heard the LORD saying… “I AM going to take your dead situations.
I mean those that are impossible and resurrect them this year if you will begin to sing over them!”
“Sing, O barren one, you who did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, you who did not travail with child! For the [spiritual] children of the desolate one will be more than the children of the married wife, says the LORD.
Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes, for you will spread abroad to the right hand and to the left; and your offspring will possess the nations and make the desolate cities to be inhabited,” Isaiah 54:1-3 (AMPC).
